“Great find”
This hotel was wonderfully located, very attractive and staffed by a friendly and helpful group of people. The breakfast buffet was EXCELLENT! My only wish for improvement would be the bed and it's pillows...hard and unforgiving. Adding quality pillows would go a long way to making for a better night's sleep. I would definitely stay there again.
“Jerusalem Find!”
Great location! Close to Ben Yehuda and even next door great, inexpensive restaurants! A bit noisy if you have a room facing the street- but the location cannot be beat!! Ten minute walk (and a nice one) down Jaffa Road to the Old City... great places along the way... I would HIGHLY recommend the Harmony!!!!
“Lovely”
Lovely hotel, perfectly located.
“Perfect”
I selected this hotel based on recommendations on Trip Advisor, and it was also recommended by the guide we used. The entrance is a little different- the lobby is one floor up in a very nice building, but not confusing. We were only staying one night, part of a cruise stop- and it was so nice to hear that we were upgraded to a suite. Going from a small cabin and miniature shower stall to a King and Queen room and bath tub was well appreciated. Our room was quiet, comfortable, the best sleep we had on a 3 week journey. Our only regret is that we had one night! The area around the hotel is perfect for late night strolling. From the best falafel I have ever had, relaxing outdoor seating bars, little shops, all in a very safe feeling environment. There were lots of locals and tourists out on a weeknight. There is an evening happy hour of treats and wines. Fun! Breakfast was a huge buffet of foods from local treats to the usual standbys. Again, I would say the best selection I have seen for a boutique hotel such as this. I cannot say enough about this place, I plan on returning and recommending it to everyone I know that will be visiting Jerusalem.
“wonderful hotel”
Great hotel. Staff is friendly, professional and helpful. The hotel is charming with great service. Close to old city.
“No Value”
I did not like this hotel. The rooms was extremely small. The hallways were vry dark with creepy videos playing on a TV screen in the vestibule. It was expensive and no service. It's like a 2 star hotel that charges 5 star prices.
“Greatly enjoyed our stay!!!”
The hotel is hip. We greatly enjoyed the lounge area - pool table, delicious snacks, free Internet. Excellent location.
“C Weissmnan”
All staff was extremely helpful. The rooms were small but interestingly appointed. The breakfast was tasty and the location was excellent.WE'd definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends.
“Beds Too Short - If you are tall than 5 feet 5 inches, you won't fit - An UnHarmonious Stay !”
You should not stay at this hotel if you are taller than 5 feet 5 inches. We booked a room at the Harmony Hotel for 8 days in January 2010. Upon arrival, after checking in at the front desk (we arrived there in the evening) and entering the room we noticed that the bed was unusually small. We went back to reception and asked if there were larger beds in any of the rooms. We were told that all the beds in the hotel were the same size - i.e. if you are taller than 5 feet 5 inches, you will NOT fit into their beds - even if you lie down diagonally ! The desk clerk advised that we would have to talk with the hotel manager in the morning. So we tried to sleep with legs hanging over the end of the bed - not very succesfully. The next morning, we went to the front desk and were advised that the manager had not yet arrived. Our tour guide had - so we took him up to the room and asked his opinion. He concurred that this was not the normal size of a bed. We went back with him to the desk clerk and he talked to her in Hebrew about this short bed problem. All she would do was to say we would have to wait for the manager. We had to leave with the tour, so a couple hours later called the hotel manager from a museum. The manager was stubborn, petulant, and was frankly obnoxious even to our guide who pleaded with her in Hebrew - and she offered no solution other than to tough it out with the short munchkin sized beds. Needless to say, we checked to a different hotel. An unharmonious stay !
“Couldn't sleep!”
We were on the third floor of the hotel, and there was a bar underneath. The noise from the bar was so loud, it was as if our bed were sitting right in the middle of the bar itself. We were kept awake for many hours. Also, our room was so small that we had to keep our suitcases in the narrow entrance hallway. On the plus side, the desk clerk was very nice and the hotel was pleasant-looking. There was also a "Happy Hour" with free snacks and wine, and a somewhat unimpressive breakfast buffet (by Israeli standards). The location was very convenient in downtown Jerusalem. However, we would never stay there again!
