Nice hotel with a good location

Posted Jan 27, 2015
Pros: Location
Location: Near to the most interesting locations in Jerusalem (Old City, Israel Museum, etc)
This is a good hotel, with small rooms but near to main touristic places (Old City, Restaurants, Museums, etc.)

PAY AHEAD!!!! Tiny rooms!

Posted Jan 2, 2015
They have a policy that charges you in Shekels with a poor exchange rate. Tiny rooms. Smaller than most Boutique European hotels . Great lobby for breakfast and complimentary happy hour. Great location.

Good Position

Very good position. Staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms ok ,clean with tea making etc. Hotel could make better use of it's space. For instance large areas on 1st floor (one floor up from reception) hardly get used in the evenings. Main reason I think is because people don't hang around after the free 'Happy 2 Hours 'which finishes at 7pm,. This hotel does not have a bar !!!. so no alcholic drinks available. Only breakfast available. So you cannot stay in hotel for lunch or dinner etc. Lots of restrauants near by.

Idealer Ausgangspunkt

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: Freundlichkeit, Sauberkeit

Old City Location

Posted Sep 16, 2014
Pros: Location, staff was helpful.
Cons: Noise, cleanliness.
Location: Shopping, banking, dining, Old City all at the doorstep.
Volume was down given recent conflict. Construction on ground floor did not allow one to sleep in. Had room on the "quiet side", but windows leaked sound from parties that went into the night. Common areas need a good scrubbing, but the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ample and good, but did not change from day-to-day. Happy Hour was oversold, not much to it. Nice pool table, but only 13 balls??? Location was superb, one block from Light Rail and Ben Yasuda/Jaffe Road, 5 minutes from Old City walls.

Meh

This was the fourth hotel of our stay on In Israel and the most mediocre by far. The room was clean enough but very cramped. Insufficient space to store luggage, and we had to walk single file to get from the bed to the door. By American standards the breakfast was good, but compared to other hotels it seemed to be a sample Israeli breakfast rather than the real thing. The entry way was under construction -- We were not sure we were even in a hotel. The décor was 'peculiar' -- Draped walls everywhere and videos rather than wall art. The staff was very attentive and courteous-- But if not for the location we would never consider this hotel.
