Pros: the location
Cons: noise at night
Location: see above
for the money its well worth it.the accommodation was fine and the service was good.great location in the west part of city next to Jaffa road and a ten minute walk to jaffa gate the western entrance to the old city.plenty of cafes restaurants and bars a few minutes away.but if you get in a room overlooking the street it can be noisy at night so take some ear plugs which I did and it was fine. enjoyed my stay.

Pros: Location and breakfast buffet
Cons: Noisy night... especially, Friday night
Location: tourism office in Old city is near..... and many restaurants, bars, coffee shops, big market around the hotel
Very easy to access old city and market. As well, very clean room with balcony and good buffet..... If there is no noise of downstair bar at Friday night....

Good location but noisy
Posted Jan 22, 2013
Pros: Location
Cons: Noise
Location: Awesome
Hotel was ok - room was clean and staff helpful, however the comfort is very basic, mastress was thin, and we could hear anything on the street even tough I was on the 3rd floor. Breakfast really average. Very good location, 10 minutes from old city, close to tramway and many restaurants and shopping places around, safe area. But the most important is that it's very noisy in the night because of the 3 bars located in the same block.

Great central location, but basic
Posted Jan 13, 2013
Pros: Great location Very good value for money Complimentary breakfast greatly exceeded my expectations
Cons: A lot of noise from bars nearby The room was very basic The Wifi was down during my whole stay
Location: Right in Jerusalem city centre and just a 10-minute walk from the Old Town
The hotel is in a great location about 10 minutes walking distance from the old town and also very close to the main shopping district. The breakfast is very good, and I got a good rate. Be ready for a very basic room (I'd say a two stars for the room and bathroom), and - warned by other reviewers - I had requested a "quite room". I did get a room away from the street, but there was still a lot of (music) noise, not just through the windows but also propagating up the stairs and under the door. The Wifi wasn't working, and as it was on the sabbath noone was available to fix it. Recommended if you're a tourist, on a budget, and aren't too bothered by the noise.

Great quality-price relationship
Posted Jan 15, 2013
Mostly good experience as it is hard to find a better deal fr this price. JI is a high-end 3-star hotel, clean and modern room (and not that tiny), good service, hyper-central (and safe: close to the municipal police building!), walking distance from most attractions. One negative would be the noisy area, with bars/discos attracting noisy people late at night. Also for breakfast the reception gives you a voucher for a specific restaurant in the vicinity. The eating experience there however is a bit underwhelming.

Jerusalem Inn great for a short stay
Posted Jan 13, 2013
The hotel staff was very nice , always ready to help guests , I especially appreciated the front desk person Anna because she helped me organize a guided tour on a Saturday , the room was clean , and the location is great because you are only a short walk away from the Old City , the only downside to this hotel is there is some sort of nightclub nearby with loud music going on all night , so it is difficult to get a good nights sleep , since I knew I would only be in Jerusalem for a few days i figured i could tough it out , other than that , everything else is okay , there are a couple of grocery stores in the area if you need to stock up on bottled water beer or snacks , and there is a mcdonalds within walking distance if you feel like having hamburger and french fries , I recommend the Jerusalem Inn !

Our base in Jerusalem
Posted Jan 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
This small hotel is located 5 minutes walk from the Jaffa Gate. The staff is extremely helpful and welcoming. The rooms are tiny but included a small balcony allowing for a nice view of a courtyard. We only use our hotel rooms as a base, therefore this was perfect. The breakfast voucher is for a small restaurant located half a block away. This was a charming place where we enjoyed relaxed morning meals. We will definitly stay here again when in Jerusalem.

Great value

Before staying at Jerusalem Inn, there are 3 things you need to know: It is very basic, there is some noisy construction going on nearby, and some nearby restaurants and bars can be noisy at night. (The last two points can't be blamed on the hotel.) But the rooms are clean, the location is fantastic, the front desk staff are extremely helpful, and the price is right. Location: Steps from the Jaffa Centre tram stop, a short ride from the bus terminal.

Great Hotel

The hotel is in a great location in walking distance from Old Jerusalem, right off the main Jaffa street. The only thing slightly inconvenient about this hotel is having to carry my luggage up two flights of stairs.

Great value hotel for visiting Jerusalem
Posted Jan 28, 2013
Pros: Location and safety
Cons: Rooms a bit on the small side
Location: Awesome for shopping, bars, dance night clubs, restaurants and very close to the Old City as well!
Awesome, Awesome, Awesome. Did I mention Awesome? I was so happy with this hotel! Great locations first of all a block away from shopping and bars and restaurants. That whole area feels very safe and comfortable. Also saw a few families and children staying there, which made feel more at ease with kids around for some reason, so good for families as well. Definitely would recommend, great value, rooms are a little small but the price, location, safe feeling more than make up for it! Give it a try and staff at desk was very friendly and helpful!
