Jerusalem Tower Hotel
Posted Jan 23, 2011 on Hotels.com
The staff was not only uninformed about the surrounding neighborhood but also unpleasant to deal with. While it has a 3 Star rating the room was small and uncomfortable although I do believe the price was not out of line for the quality of the hotel. I would urge travelers to find other accommodations while in Jerusalem.

Good Location - Very Old Building
Posted Jan 27, 2011 on Hotels.com
We stayed at this hotel because we accidentally booked one night less than we needed at our other hotel and this was all that was available on short notice. It's a great part of town that is steps from Ben Yehuda street and a short walk to the Old City. The hotel itself is very old, however. The lobby smells like cologne and everything in the hotel has old stains on every stick of furniture or carpet. So is it dirty? Hard to say. It's definitely old. And the hallways are super gritty like the hotel would be a great place for the bad guys to hide out in a Guy Ritchie movie. Breakfast was the same Israeli breakfast we had at our 'nice' hotel the previous week - lots of options and yummy. All that said, it's cheap. Can't say it wasn't the kind of place that made me wonder about bed bugs, but in their defense I didn't get any :) It was totally fine for one night.

A nice hotel that has gone a bit to seed
Posted Jan 16, 2011 on Hotels.com
This was clearly a nice hotel in its day but the general appearance is now rather dim and dated. Room was comfortable but bathroom very cramped. Badly let down by the Friday evening meal which was uninspired and poor value.- the dessert was a tasteless apple. (restaurants in Jerusalem are closed Friday evening and Saturday so a meal in the hotel is important).

Good nightlife, in walking distance to old town
Posted Jan 29, 2010 on Hotels.com
Close to the Ben Yehuda road where you find good shopping, restaurants, some life bands, irish pup, .... 10min to walk to the old town. Hotel is old, but ok. Nothing special, but a good possibility to visit Jerusalem.
