Our trip to Israel February, 2015

Posted Mar 9, 2015
Pros: The staff were very helpful, the location is great, the rooms are comfortable and clean.
Cons: I would appreciate seeing items for people with gluten and dairy sensitivities, as well as more herbal tea selections.
Location: We found ourselves within walking distance of the Techana, Emek Refaim, the Old City and many other interesting sites.
My husband and I planned this trip to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary and my husband's 60th birthday. Our children were joining us for one week of our trip. When we were booking our hotel for Jerusalem, my husband and I, who had stayed in the Prima Royale on previous occasions, did not hesitate to make our reservation for ourself and our children. We were definitely pleased with our decision. The hotel is in a great location for walking just about anywhere. The staff were all very helpful. The rooms were comfortable and client. We and our children had a wonderful time and will definitely come again.

Nice hotel close to center of town.

Posted Mar 2, 2015
Pros: The hotel is in a great location and is clean and comfortable and modern.
Have stayed at Prima Royale before for a couple of nights. The rooms and lobby are small but clean and comfortable for a short stay. The hotel is located on a quiet street within walking distance of the city center, the Old City of Jerusalem and buses also stop nearby. Great value for the budget conscious traveler.

Great place

Posted Jan 19, 2015
Pros: Clean tidy and location
Cons: Hall way carpets need to be replaced to meet 4 star standards, better bar food selection
Location: Good location for public transport and close to old city
Great hotel well located close to old city, shops and public transport. Hotel was clean tidy and well presented. Was worth the price. Good food for breakfast. Bar could have more food variety. Staff friendly. Definitely recommend staying here.

Lovely hotel with a homey feel

Posted Jan 18, 2015
The Prima Royale is a lovely hotel in a wonderful residential neighborhood, central to everything a visitor might wish to see in Jerusalem. 15 minutes walk in any direction gets you to some of the most fascinating places on earth. The lobby is gracious and welcoming which is especially nice since there is a considerable cost to Internet in the room so I spent a fair amount of time in the lobby. The breakfast is plentiful and well-prepared. Most mornings, there is live music during breakfast which was very sweet.

Regular hotel in a good location

Posted Jan 7, 2015
The location is good, in a short distance to the old city entrance and the Mamila shopping. However it need renovations mainly in the rooms and bathrooms wich are very small. The breakfast is reasonable and the restaurant eatable.

Nice but average

Posted Jan 5, 2015 on Hotels.com
The room felt dated and very average but was clean. The bathroom was small and not especially nice. The parking was very convenient but I felt it was quite a hike to Ben Yehuda, Mamilla and the Old City. I enjoyed the breakfast, especially that there was live music! It seemed that the dining room was newly renovated.

Good location, very small beds and room

Posted Jan 4, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Facilities. Beds. Bathrooms. Shower. Should be free wi fi. They must put some money into rooms.
Location: Great for Old City and walking.
Have stayed there 2x - will try another hotel next time. This one needs updating. Feels dirty. Everything needs a good cleaning.
