A no-frills hotel close to the Old City

Posted Nov 10, 2014
We enjoyed our stay at Victoria Hotel and would definitively recommend it to friends. It is a no- frills hotel with service minded and professional personnel. It is located a few minutes walk from the Old City, Herodes Gate, restaurants, and other attractions.

Buffet breakfast has eggs, hot dog pieces fried with onions and peppers, different salads, watermelon and small halvah pieces. 4 beds with 2 bathrooms with AC. Can walk to Garden Tomb. Let us park car behind gate. Hotel open 24 hours. In the Old City, very hard to find in Muslim area. Run down.

Close to the Old City and friendly staff

Posted Jul 11, 2014 on Hotels.com
The restaurant next to the hotel was a quick and tasty way to grab dinner, and the staff was quite friendly and helpful. The room had working internet and great AC. The beds were loud and squeaky, but comfortable enough. Overall, the room was great for the price and location.

Close to the old city

Posted Jun 25, 2014
Pros: The staff were helpful and friendly, our towels were fresh each day, and it was close to trains and buses. Breakfast was excellent and included.
Cons: It would have been nice to have been able to make tea and coffee in our room, and perhaps have a little fridge. However, we could use theirs anytime.
Great to stay in an affordable hotel close to all amenities and the old city. While the neighbourhood looks a little rough we found everyone we met to be friendly and courteous! Over all we felt very welcome here.

Godt beliggenhed

Posted Jun 16, 2014 on Hotels.com
Good value for the Money.

close to the old town and good wifi

Posted Jun 9, 2014 on Hotels.com
Every one spoke really good english and the service was good. This hotel is not bad, and not good. It is quite old and a little run down, but location is great. It took us less than 10 minutes to walk to the old city gates with my grandparent who walk slow. Wifi was really good and stabil.

Good value for money

Posted May 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
The young girl at the frontdesk is very kind and efficient. I really apprecied that they were able to keep my luggage the days at the beginning and the end of my stay. Basic but comfortable room. Breakfast ok. Nice east-jerusalem area, even at night, very close to old town.

Litt slitent

Et litt nedslitt hotell. Rengjøringen brukbar, men ikke perfekt. Hyggelig og hjelpsomt personale med varierende engelskkunnskap. Bra beliggenhet.

Posted May 5, 2014

Lage super, Hotel okay

Posted Apr 29, 2014
