“Wonderful Joburg Airport Stopover Hotel”

“Very satisfied”

Just as advertised, the lodge sent a car to pick us up that arrived within 10 minutes of our call. Our driver Charles, who also returned us to the airport the next day, was very nice and also operates tours, which I regret not taking. The room was very comfortable, especially the bed and large pillows. The breakfast was very nice and filling. We traveled to Botswana and on the return, we were unexpectedly delayed in J'burg. We were once again very nicely accommodated on very short notice. GREAT PLACE, highly recommend if you want to stay close to the airport (you can hear the planes, but didn't keep me awake) in a safe and pretty place.

“Convenient, Clean and Comfortable”

Aero Guest Lodge is perfect for a one night stay or multiple days. They picked us up within 10 min of our arrival and it is just a short ride to the lodge. The driver was friendly and took our bags to our rooms while another staff member showed us the reception, lounges, bar & restaurant, etc. The rooms are all private in a secured area that has a comfortable feel despite being in a somewhat noisy part of town. The room was clean and comfortable, our room was a twin room which had two beds, a couch, dressers/armoirs and a large bathroom with a shower. Wifi available in lounge area which has comfortable chairs in a covered outdoor area. In the morning, the driver came promptly to collect our bags and got us to the airport safely and efficiently. I would definitely stay here again for the cleanliness, proximity to the airport and overall comfort.

For anyone arriving in Johannesburg and needing to stay overnight before a flight the next morning, Aero Guest Lodge is a great option. The cost is very reasonable, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, it is very close to the airport, and the room & amenities are more than adequate.

Close to the Johannesburg airport, and they offer a shuttle service. Great value for the affordable price.

“Transit passengers only”

This is clearly not a 4-star facility. Rooms are small (tv high on the wall with a total of 5 channels), no toiletries, no telephone, no internet in room, no large mirror, no A/C. 'Free' shuttle only applies to arrival and departure - any other trip requires substantial fee. Owners and staff try very hard but are limited because of small size. Breakfasts excellent.
