“Overnight here between flights”

We've stayed at the Airport Grand several times. It is convenient to Tambo International; the airport shuttle shows up on-time; the staff is professional staff; the rooms are a bit small, but clean and have everything you need (I don't know about Wi-Fi in room) and the food is good. If you have time to waste between flights there is a mall within walking distance to pass some time. It is in the flight path to the airport, so don't plan on sleeping in, but who goes to Africa to sleep?

“Stay if you don't have choice”

The hotel is close to the airport and offer shattle service. However, the room is somewhat small and old.

“Great in transit airport hotel near JNB”

I was in transit overnight at Johannesburg Airport and stayed at the Airport Grand. It was not especially grand, but it was comfortable and suited me well. Dinner in the dining room was very good. The free breakfast buffet was terrific. They provided free lifts to/from airport and hotel. The hotel is close to the airport as the crow flies, but the drive took 15-20 minutes.

“grand?”

Worked for me but I was very tired and my guard was down- staff all nice- but... bathroom pretty unsatisfactory- towels worn down to threads, tub not very clean, drapes looked like someone smeared ice cream or something on them...and on and on. Someone smoking down the hallway I guess because smoke was coming in to my room- I'll tell you it passed, but barely..

“great for quick overnighters”

Hotel was fine, small room, but they had internet which was helpful. Our only complaint is that the shuttle service started at 6am and we needed to be at the airport sooner than that. So there was an extra cost to get a Taxi early in the morning. Breakfast started later but they did provide a bag breakfast. Will go again if we don't have an early flight.

“Good relation price-quality and near to the airport”

Good place for a short stay, confortable and clean. Rooms are nice and common areas like lobby and bar are enjoyable.
