“Can't wait to go back”
The hotel and staff were excellent. It was always a pleasure to return to the tranquility of the hotel after a busy day. The staff were always extremely friendly, courteous and helpful and made my stay one of the best I've had in Johannesburg. I will definitely go back and stay there when next I return to Johannesburg. I also felt very safe there.
“Would definitely stay in this hotel chain in the future”
The hotel was better than I had expected. The staff were very friendly and helpful and were more than happy to arrange tours for me. The only downside (and this has nothing to do with the hotel itself) is that the taxi fare to and from the airport was very expensive. However, the hotel itself exceeded my expectations and I would deinitely recommend it to other travellers.

The hotel is very well located and the service is good.
“Some good and some bad”
In addition to a less than helpful front desk staff, we had a problem with housekeeping. We went to breakfast on our departure date and came back to our room to find the beds stripped. It was not yet check out time and we planned to use the room to relax in for awhile since we had an early evening flight. Housekeeping came up to remake up the beds, but it seemed a waste to put on new bedding for a couple of hours. The hotel restaurant was fine and the remaining staff members were helpful. If you do not want to eat in the hotel, you have to take a cab to get to other restaurants. There are no restaurants nearby.
“small rooms, expensive breakfast”
Hotel was nice, but room was small. Buffet breakfast for two of us cost as much as dinner for two at the hotel restaurant. Hotel was not near other restaurants and there was no free shuttle into town.
“review”
The food & bev services (Bar,Breakfast,Curios Shop) are EXTREEMLY expensive which makes it ridiculously unpractical to sat here as there are no neighboring shops,cafes.WiFi is also totally outrageous.Most unfortunate.......the hotel is also not cleaned properly as the housekeeping staff seem to be a bit laid back and have to constantly be reminded to clean or change items.

Good value for money. Classical 4 star hotel. Clean. Rooms are big enough. Cool bar.
