Location was very quiet and relaxing..short hotel provided shuttle ride to mall and flea market, walking distance away from super market, restaurant and strip mall.....The staff was extraordinary and very helpful...special thanks to the supervisors Maria, Teresa and David the shuttle drivers and the breakfast staff for making our stay so enjoyable.....I could give specific examples of your kindness like Maria offering her train card for us to take a train ride, to her giving us a ride to the flea market but it would take forever to mention how special you all were.....Thank you very much.....

The room was a good size, well equipped and clean. There was some noise from planes taking off and landing but it did not seem bad enough to disrupt our sleep and after all it is an airport hotel and exactly why we chose it. The included breakfast was very good and over all the hotel was a good value.

I love that you only pay 30 Rands to get transferred to + picked up from shops, as the hotel is a little away from shops, restaurants and malls.

The staff were all happy to be of assistance at any time. Reception was most helpful and so were the shuttle drivers. They picked us up at the airport, dropped us off and picked up again at the beautiful shopping mall nearby and finally took us again to the large market nearby as we had time to spare. We cannot help but praise them all and we will definitely stay with them again.

Don't trust shuttle time estimates.
It was fine. One issue, when we asked about going somewhere to eat, the desk clerk told us we could take the hotel shuttle, and gave us a 20 minutes ETA. 40 minutes later, we were told the shuttle driver had accidentally gone to the airport rather than returning to the hotel to pick us up. He would be back to the hotel in about 15 minutes. Another half hour later, we finally got the shuttle to take us out to the mall to get some dinner. Quite aggravating. He did arrive promptly to pick us up later and take us back to the hotel though, and we did use the shuttle to get to the airport next day, and that was fine.

Clean, convenient and friendly hotel. Service very good. Location convenient. Drawbacks: 1) Situated in the take off flight path of OR Tambo i.e. Planes taking off every 10 minutes right over venue. This was my mistake for not researching properly; not the hotels. 2) Other guests noisy in passage coming in late at night. Inconsiderate to those sleeping. I did not bring this to their attention. Overall: Fine if you do not mind noise. We will be more careful next time.

My wife had a excellent stay at the guest house for 3 nights. Rooms are clean, Free Wifi, great breakfast. Everything is good. Staff helped us with everything we needed.

Nice, clean hotel in a quiet area
I only stayed for one night but the whole ordeal was mostly hassle free. Checking in was quick and easy and the room was clean and comfortable. The only small problem that I had was with the airport shuttle. I told the front desk that I needed to leave by 8:00 am the next morning. When I checked with the front desk at 7:45 am to make sure it was on time it looked like they had no idea about this and had to call the shuttle right then. It didn't show until 8:30. I still caught my flight but was a bit rushed at the airport. Overall the stay was pleasant and I would easily stay there again.

Comfortable hotel at a reasonable price!
Europrime Guesthouse is very comfortable, clean, close to the airport (10 min.), and in a safe neighborhood. They have free breakfast, and a free shuttle service. The rooms were very clean, with comfy beds. The staff was very helpful with things like recommending tours, storing our luggage while we did a tour, and advising us what time to get to the airport. The only negative thing I have to say about the place is that it seems to be on the flight path for planes that are landing, so it can be a bit noisy. We stayed there 3 times in 2 weeks, and were treated like royalty each and every time!

Can only but recommend it!
We strongly recommend that Hotel, very good quality for the price. Everything was a good surprise: lovely bedroom, very good breakfast and very nice and helpful staff. We regularly have to stay overnight in Johannesburg, that was our first time in that hotel but it is the one we will go back to!

Our room was dirty an the pool was missing even though there was supposed to be one. The hotel seemed fairly run down and nothing was as good as it should have been. There were only four channels on our TV.

The hotel / Guesthouse was affordable and good value for money. Pity that its situated directly below the OR Tambo flight approach. Planes flying overhead every couple minutes at peak times meant that it was a little to noisy for my liking.

A little dissappointed since I had planned the trips around the facilities offered on the website. I planned to spend a day by the pool while watching my son swim, that did not happen as there was no swimming pool. It got worse when I was informed by non-management staff that most patrons are offered the option of using the pool at the nearby sister-establishment and this option was never extended to me when I complained to Phillip, the manager who instead wanted me to prove the swimming pool exists on the pictures, which I did.

A great stay in comfort. Staff attitudes were not as friendly and needs to improve to match the general good atmosphere. The breakfast was good although the juice choices can be improved. For 2 days the breakfast menu was basically the same and not sure if it is standard. Overall, good.

Everything was fine except for disgusting discovery that the sheets were not changed - we got what looked like a room that had just been used. Stained sheets and "funny stains" on the other floor mat next to the bed. Secondly, unpleasant smell in the corridor from suspected cooking by some tenants. Lastly, something must be done to get rid of ants which swamped our takeaway food. On the positive side - the staff were friendly and the location of the facility is impressively hidden away from busy areas for deserving peace-of-mind.

Inexpensive hotel near airport
I was pleasantly surprised by Europrime Guest House. Although under the flightpath, the noise of aircraft was not obtrusive and didn't disturb me at all even though I'm a light sleeper. We enjoyed the good choice of items for breakfast, efficient laundry service and friendly staff. The huge Eastrand shopping centre is within walking distance although the guesthouse will provide a shuttle at a price. This shuttle also took us to and from the airport without charge, although even if you've booked a time for collection the day before, do phone when you're at the terminal.

I enjoyed my stay in Europrime but there is a little problem i noticed about the cleaness of the towel and bedsheets.Bedsheets we are not changed daily and sometimes wet towel were placed in the bathroom.

Great place to stay
This is a very nice, convenient, quite, and comfortable place to stay. This is my second year staying at this property and I will book here again next time I travel to South Africa.
