Thin walls allows noise frm street no fun activities until Friday, nice restaurant clean rooms R80 cab to gautrain park station.

I enjoyed my stay, that's why I keep coming back! It was my second stay at the hotel because I knew what to expect, which was good service and I got it again. As far as I am concerned you have set a good standard for yourselves (and others) and you can only get better! Reef Hotel is my first choice and I would recommend it to anyone! I will definitely be back on my next trip to Johannesburg!

driving up da parking was extremely narrow, had to pay parking as a additional fee. Paid for 2 x deluxe double room with a bar fridge, got to the rooms, no Bar fridge in the rooms. When checked out, the receptionist requested additional amount to be paid...as per her records it was for 1 night only but we booked for 2 nights using hotel.com!

The Hotel is nice and clean and there are definitely improvements since the last time i was there 3 years ago. Customer service was superb and everyone was very welcoming. I do have some issues to address: 1. There is no fridge in the room as stated by hotels.com. 2. There is a restriction on Wi-Fi use. You can only connect one device at a time. I had a phone, my Mrs had a phone and we also had a laptop. We had to alternate internet usage. For a hotel that markets itself as a business hotel, i find this extremely ridiculous and it defeats the purpose of having wireless internet. Remove this restriction. 3. The restaurant on the ground floor has a very limited menu and the restaurant on the third floor never seems available, i had the same problem on my last trip. If you are planning on staying anything more than a couple of nights i recommend you take some time to look at local restaurants. There are loads of good food places within walking distance from the hotel. 4. Housekeeping was good most of the time, however there was an occasion where they came in to change the coffee and toiletries. I was sleeping on the bed and my Mrs let them in. The woman left the door open (which is fine) but she was shouting having a conversation with another woman in the opposite room in their local language. I found this extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. Apart from this as i said, i had a good stay. Would definitely recommend the hotel. Tinashe
