Friendly and accommodating staff, located in a safe area, clean room.. I did not stay that long in the hotel, but did not have any issues with special requests such as keeping my ice packs in their kitchen freezer and holding my luggage after checkout so I can take a day tour in Long Island with a friend.. The room is not as big as I had expected but no issues for me.

Solid choice for catching a morning flight

Posted Mar 24, 2015
This isn't a vacation spot. It's a place to wait for your next flight. And for that, it's great. Shuttle was reliable every half hour. Efficient, friendly service. Clean, pleasant, professional. Warm cookies at the front desk were a nice surprise. Breakfast was at the better end for your basic grab and go. Hot waffles, eggs, fruit... good variety. I checked in. Worked at my little desk, slept... ate and was on my way. No view... not a pretty area... but that's not why I was there. I recommend.

Bad neighborhood

Posted Mar 24, 2015
Once I saw the neighborhood, I decided to not even check-in, and my room I had already paid in full. (that's how bad the area is).

I do apologize that the area was not what you had expected. It is unfortunate that we did not get the opportunity to give you a memorable stay experience. The area surrounding the JFK airport is not considered a vibrant area as far as ambiance and culture. However the area is host over 250,000 commuters and residents every day. If the area was so unsafe it would not be so inhabited. Please understand that we consider the safety of our guests of the highest of importance. We have round the clock security personnel and video surveillance in all the public areas. We provide a safe, clean and comfortable stay for our guests.

The staff was great, the hotel itself was fair.

Posted Mar 22, 2015
I had to call the staff after getting to the room because it smelled heavily of cigarette smoke and I didn't want to get a charge for smoking in the room. They came up to inspect what we were speaking of and she said, "Oh, that must have happened in the bathroom yesterday, it is old smoke." They did offer us another room, but honestly, we were so tired, we declined. The room was a bit shabby, but we stayed. I wouldn't go there again. But the staff was kind and accommodating.

Great for an overnight stay.

Posted Mar 17, 2015
Pros: Good food, nice bar, friendly staff. Close to JFK.
Cons: Keep the bar open late!
Location: This ariport hotel was a little nicer because there was a neighborhood deli, Chinese food, and a liquor store within walking distance.
This hotel was exactly what I needed. It was affordable, close to the airport, had a bar and restaraunt and free breakfast. Perfect for an overnight rest stop while passing through JKF airport.

Everything you want from an airport hotel

Posted Mar 16, 2015
Pros: Efficiency. Shuttle. Fast internet. Breakfast.
Cons: Newer towels. And power outlet for international configurations.
Location: Part of Queens that is industrial and boring. But it is an airport hotel
This was my second time and the front desk apologized for giving me one of the rooms on the first floor. It was actually okay except with the view. I travelled in mostly in Asia so I am used to hotels that are more elaborated. But I got everything that I needed and none I did not. Nice touch that the newspaper was WSJ.

We are delighted that you choose to return to us! I echo our front desk and apologize for having to place you on the first floor as those were the only ones available at the time. Our first floor rooms are just as clean and comfortable but they do not offer the same view as the other floors do. We are so glad to learn that you were completely satisfied with your stay and we hope to see you again soon!

The first reception was rude (she won't bother looking at you when talking, etc). The door and wall of room are thin, there was a girl next door talking, laughing so loud around 3~4 am, woke up everyone. Won't recommend...

First of all I want to apologize for your check-in experience. We strive to provide a memorable hotel experience for all our guests and I am very sorry to learn that we did not meet both yours and our expectations. Please understand that your comments will be shared with our Front Desk Staff in an effort to improve our service. I also want to sympathize with you on your experience with your neighboring guest. It is regretful that others choose to be extraordinarily loud at such an hour. Our rooms are insulated to block noise but obviously will not block out someone choosing to be so inconsiderate. We hope that you will return to us despite such an experience so we may impress you and win back your trust and good opinion.

Hotel d'aéroport confortable et commode

Posted Mar 1, 2015

Rest between flights.

Posted Feb 26, 2015
It was nice to get some rest before heading home from a long flight. Free and easy pick up from airport and return(plus reasonable room rates). The staff and management was great at taking care of business. The neighborhood isn't Disney, but if you are looking for a nice place to get some rest before moving on and you don't want to worry about how your getting back and forth from the airport then you will like it here.
