First time in Bermuda for 13 years

"We lived in Bermuda from 1978 to 1988 and had not been back for 13 years. Waynes place was ideal for our 10 day vacation. Wayne is a wonderful host and so friendly. The apartment has stunning views over Harrington Sound and you can access the water from the property. Unfortunately for us the sea and pool were too cold to go in. We rented a bike from Oleanders who delivered it to the property and picked it up on our departure. The island and it's people hadn't lost any of their charm and we reconnected with many old friends. We will be back for sure"

This spacious 2br home offers a comfortable retreat

"Very nice property. Space is good in this 2 bedroom home with 3 baths and a den/office. Important to know but not clear upon booking...they have 2 coffee makers. One traditional and a French press. They do have all kitchen conveniences. There is an iron and ironing board. Very convenient to bus stops! Great view at the end of driveway and nice walking bridge. You can also walk down to a small beach across the street. Driveway very steep! And there is a flight of stairs down to get to this home. There is no good outdoor furniture which is sad because the yard is beautiful. A hot tub would've been amazing. Crown Point concierge people were very nice. "

"Perfect for solo traveler or couple. Clean and safe environment. Easy access to bus (steep hill could be an issue for some), walking distance to grocery store, Spital Pond Nature Preserve (beautiful!) and two nice restaurants in Flatts (healthy walk). Hosts are friendly and accommodating. Make sure you like large friendly dogs. Have stayed here before and plan to return."

"As described. a charming beach house across from John Smith's Bay beach, fully equipped 2BR, kitchen, dining, and living room. The host was the best we've ever had, making sure that our stay throughout was perfection! The pictures suggest that there is a direct view to the beach - there is not - and there is no spa/hot tub as listed. Also, being on the rustic side there is only one outlet in each room and not in the bathroom so bring a power strip for all your devices; also no outside electric to charge if you rent an EV car. Overall, a great well-equipped rental with an almost private beach right there - 5 stars."
