“Nice place to stay.”

The room was reasonably clean and the bed was very comfortable. The desk staff was also very nice and friendly. The only downside is there are no alarm clocks in the rooms but there are wake up calls available.

“Old and worn but neat and clean.”

This was an extremely low budget option. The room was clean but fixtures were old and worn. There was something wrong with the lights (most would not turn on) the first night of our stay; however, it was fixed the next morning. Hotel staff was friendly. You need to get a code from the front desk to use the high speed internet - which wasn't exactly high speed. It was close to everything. I wish they had had a newer heater/air conditioner, though. It was very hard to adjust the temperature and fan speed for comfort.

Area recommendations
The city was a bit odd. We ate at a diner next to the hotel and the staff and patrons were a bit stand-offish and rude. It seemed they didn't like strangers. One of the patrons actually asked me and my young daughter to move from the counter seats because he thought we had too much food there.
Family-friendly activities
We went to Seven Springs tubing park with my 7-year old and had a blast. We also traveled about an hour to Blue Knob tubing park which was also lots of fun. Seven Springs had more runs but Blue Knob was less populated and we had a shorter wait.

“Overpriced”

The motel was well worn and for the condition of the motel, I'd have expected to pay less. The breakfast room had insufficient seating space and I had to stand one morning.
