“Super clean!”
This Econolodge has a cleanliness that surpasses all of the hotels we have stayed in. We do a lot of traveling, and due to our budget, are prepared for below standard conditions. The rooms even smelled like the clean you associate with home!!!
“Would stay there again”
We stayed one night for a show in town, and it was conveniently located within walking distance of the venue. It's a very nice place for the price.
“I would recommend this hotel.”
Went to a concert at the War Memorial and spent the night at the hotel. Hotel is so close we could walk to the concert and back to the hotel. Didn't have to worry about finding parking at the concert. I would definitely stay there again if in Johnstown, and would recommend this hotel to anyone.
“You get what you pay for.”
Unfortunately, Johnstown is very limited in hotels near the downtown area. It is basically this Econolodge and the Holiday inn which is a few blocks closer to town but double the price. The toilet ran all weekend. One day our room did not get cleaned and the manager actually argued with me as to whose fault it was. The housekeeping list said the "do not disturb" sign was on the door, which was partially true in the AM (except from 10 am to noon) and definitely was not on the door from about 1:30 PM to 11:30 PM. So after being on our feet all day spending hundreds of dollars in their city, we came home to a dirty room and an argument. Next time I'll spend the extra money and stay at the Holiday Inn. I would suggest anyone who reads this do the same. I'll also mention the "business center" had a computer with a 1990's screen size and the speed of that decade as well.

it seemed like there was a family that lived in the hotel. who hung out in the lobby of the hotel. it was a bit uncomfortable. the hotel was fine.
“Decent hotel for the money”
A decent hotel for the money located in downtown Johnstown. The neighborhood wasn't the best but for the money it wasn't a bad place to stay.
“Nice”
The staff was very nice , the room was comfortable, the breakfast bar was good, you could make your own waffles, 24 hour coffee. We had a view of the Inclineplane very nice...Could walk to downtown Johnstown,Point Stadium, or The War Memorial. Across the street McDonalds and Sheetz.
“SERVED ITS PURPOSE”
THE HOTEL WAS FAIRLY CLEAN AND THE FRONT DESK STAFF WAS FRIENDLY. IT WAS CLOSE TO WHERE WE NEEDED TO BE, SO IT SERVED ITS PURPOSE FOR A TWO DAY TRIP. I DON'T KNOW THAT I WOULD DO AN EXTENDED STAY.
“Not impressed”
Not impressed. This is not a 2 star hotel. To even call it a hotel is a joke. It is a low budget flop house in a low rent district. The only redeaming factor was that the staff was very helpful and understanding. The rooms are tiny, the toilet overflowed, the towel rack fell off the wall and the refrig was not pluged in.
