Very good location, directly across the road from City Square Mall. For the price of the room I would think the location and basic amenities made up for it. (they provide toothbrush, towels, shower gel etc - the basic necessities) Rooms were basic, there was stains on the bedsheet and mould in some corners of the bathroom. The walls are quite thin so you would hear others walking or talking along the corridor. Sufficient for a short stay considering the price.

Friendly counter staff 1 Malay lady (14/11 at counter) Indian man (15/11 at counter) Room air-con needs to be serviced. Not that cold - near the bed area Technician came to see, but he couldn't do much. He helped me to push the bed - nearer to air-con. Technician - very friendly young man

Irresponsible hotel and bad stay
Wasn't able to check in until 4+ am due to power shutdown. Wasted my money on booking for one night stay when I only managed to check in at close to 5am and check out at 9am as I needed a stay over before moving for next destination. The lobby was filled with people sleeping on the sofa because they couldn't enter the rooms to sleep. Wanted the hotel to refund but they rejected and said it was not their issue for the power shutdown. It wasn't my issue as well please. I paid for the whole night stay without any compensation. I bought the breakfast buffet as well but it was another waste of money. They only have one soup, nasi lemak, kuay teow, bread and omelette. Such limited choices, you would rather walk out and eat elsewhere cheaper and nicer.

I got a windowless room, despite picking a room depicted online as having a window. The trash can had not been emptied. The air conditioner tried, but never got the room actually cool. The walls were thin and so I could hear all the noise happening in the hallway

Location is perfect
Hotel location is convenient, just across the road from Maybank City Square. Room is small 17sqm but comfortable. There is a hair dryer as well as an electric kettle.

Good location but no good service.
2pm is the hotel scheduled check-in time. We went at 3pm, was told room not ready, disappointed. Help us store luggage, we went shopping first. When we came back after 5pm, room was ready for check-in but was given a room just above the lobby level, next to breakfast lounge, noisy floor, another disappointment! One toilet roll for 2-persons for 2-days stay. Dissatisfaction.

I will always choose this hotel whenever in JB for a short retreat because of its excellent customer service! Prompt & attentive staffs as always. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet! No complains. The hotel room is spacious and clean. Surely there is enough space for two guests at a time. The exterior walls along the common corridors looked a little old even though they were re painted. The staff were friendly and helpful though and the hotel is located nearby City Square.
