Yadkinville Grape FestivalPosted Oct 21, 2014
Pros: Loved the décor in the lobby and how comfortable it was. Also liked the breakfast that was offered. The beds were very comfortable as well.
Cons: Smoking lounge area for the staff who smoke that is away from the non-smoking rooms. Cheese would be a nice addition to the breakfast.
Location: We found a fabulous restaurant called Generations which is only a couple miles away. Wineries only a few miles away from this hotel as well.
We arrived at the Comfort Inn and noticed how beautifully decorated it was for the fall! We saw a sign when we checked in regarding the stink bugs that were prominent in this area and I am so glad we read the sign otherwise we would've thought there was an issue with the rooms--we had a few but it wasn't ridiculous. We had a wonderful time relaxing in the lobby before we went to our rooms for bed. We were so glad to have a reservation because the night shift who didn't seem too happy to be there were not very friendly to the people who didn't have reservations coming in off the street. The breakfast was WONDERFUL but the only thing missing was some cheese for the eggs and grits. We did notice the cleaning crew sitting and smoking on the lounges right beside our rooms which made our rooms smell smoky--they might need a separate lounge area that is not so close to the non-smoking rooms. All in all we had a great experience and we will definitely stay at the Comfort Inn in Jonesville, NC for the future Grape Festivals

one night stayPosted Apr 9, 2014
Pros: The convenience to the highway
Cons: More soundproofing in the rooms adjacent to the highway.
Location: This is not a sightseeing visit/ \merely a one night stay on a long road journey from \Florida to \Ontario..
This is our annual visit on our way home from Florida. To date our experience has been positive. The staff are pleasant and accommodating and try to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

Pros: Updated Rooms, good complete breakfast
Location: Few restaurants in the immediate area
Very clean updated rooms, but small, good location. Few restaurants in immediate area. Except for the restaurants, I would gladly stay again.

Ok hotelPosted Apr 15, 2013
Pros: Close to the highway
Cons: Smell in the room
Room smelled like smoke, even though it was non-smoking. Burn marks on the bathtub. Dead bug floating in the toilet when we got there. Couldn't use the indoor pool because the chlorine was so strong in there, you couldn't breath and it burned my eyes and gave me a headache. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good.

Perfect Place to StopPosted Aug 5, 2011
We discovered this hotel completely by accident a few years ago while needing a pitstop on our way to Florida. The rooms are always immaculate, the staff always friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is the best we've EVER seen provided by a hotel to their guests! The microwaves and mini-fridges in the rooms are also so convenient! The inside pool looks very tempting each time we stay, though we've never tried it. One of the luckiest accidents we've ever stumbled onto, lol! Now when we travel south and are anywhere near the area, we ALWAYS make this very-reasonably priced hotel a stop on the trip!!

Very hospitable staff, restaurants nearby. Would stay again.Posted Apr 25, 2007
There is a nice area just off the lobby, almost like a living room. Free popcorn for guests, coffee available all hours. The breakfast offers much more than the standard fare of cereal and/or bagels. The room was good sized, although not large. More importantly, it was clean.
