Very good for elderly. Hiss to all floors. Wonderful staff and breakfast. Available parking at a rate. Shops central location. So we’ll worth it.

Very well situated, but a lot of noise throughout the night with the trains etc. Booked a premium room, however, amenities were limited and the room was small- more in line with a basic room so wouldn’t pay more for a ‘better’ room.

Well isolated, big room, big bed, curtains keep the sun out when needed. Some trash behind curtains, and a few hairs in some places when we arrived. Other than that it was well cleaned. Shower was okay.

This is a very convenient hotel especially if you are coming by personal transport from the highway(motorvagen). The one drawback is that the parking is off the hotel lot and around the corner in a separate and somewhat dingy place. Very central to the town so everything is easily walkable.

Weekend getaway
Motorcycle friendly. Good breakfast buffet with pleasant staff. Got the room upgrade with a view of the lake.

Good enough. Nothing bad, nothing extraordinary. A lot of noise from the night cafes next to the hotel, so be prepared for that all summer (at least weekends)

Classic Swedish city hotel
This is an old classic stylish hotel. At least it gives that impression. I mean that it has character. It is perfectly clean and well kept but not entirely modern in every detail. That the shower in my room was a bit small would be an example of the negative side of this. The decor and feel of the place with a wide staircase and a large lobby would be a ampler if the positive side. The central location next to the railway station is convenient if you travel by train or if you want to be in the immediate vicinity of restaurants and shopping.

Jönköping hotel by the canal
Elie Stora Hotellet is a great plase to stay in Jönköping. Close by the canal and the lake the lpcal area is just beautiful with lots of restaurants, coffee shops and bars. The hotel's own Bishops Arms pub and restaurant is known for good food and a well stocked bar. By the lake there is a pier with several restaurants and live music at night. There are lots of old castles amd museums showcasing the rise of local industry like the match factory. If you play golf, like us, there are several golf courses quite near. Sand Golf Club is our favorite, a very special links type course. Rooms and service in the hotel is excellent. We've been there before, and we will be back.

Great stay in Jonkoping.
Nice hotel in great location. Friendly, helpful staff. Stayed at front of hotel with loud music outside until after midnight so slept with windows shut in hot conditions in July. Fans provided in room as no air conditioning.

Charmigt men lite slitet hotell. Bra läge, nära kommunikation och the bishop arms. Riktigt bra och god frukost. Parkering med el laddning 200 meter bort.
