“Holiday Inn- Joplin”

My overall impression was that our room was just what I expected from Holiday Inn. Clean,comfortable. The small couch in the room was a nice touch to be able sit on instead of a small chair. I woould book here again. Good place to stay.

Check in and cleaning staff were fine, Managers reception was good. Beware the lounge, food, and servers.

“DEF WONT GO BACK”

Room was waaay to small, barely could fit 2 ppl comfortably, said was a queen bed, but NO way it was. Glad i didnt pay hotels regular price cuz def not worth it. Entry & atrium for hotel is beautiful maybe they should fix their rooms to match. 1st floor on way to indoor pool stunk sooo bad like mildew (not sure if recently flooded) could barely breathe. Housekeeping was awesome. Managers reception was nice but could last a little later. Def wont be coming back their anytime soon

“Worst hotel housekeeping service we have ever experienced!”

The hotel is old and the hallways have an "old locker room" odor. The room itself was a mediocre, but acceptable, hotel room. The housekeeping service, however, was the worst we have ever experienced! We stayed there for three days and four nights while visiting family. Our room was only serviced once and on that day the beds were sloppily made and the dirty towels taken away, Some of the towels were replaced and no wash cloths were replaced. Nothing else was done - coffee and condiments were replaced and absolutely no cleaning was done! On the other two days we had to call to get fresh towels and replacement coffee and condiments. None of the management seemed concerned about the poor service, We are not usually too picky about things, but it was very disconcerting to have a complete lack of service and then no concern shown by the management. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
