“Clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced”

The air conditioner unit at my home had quit working, and the repairman could not come until the next day. So I decided to stay overnight at a hotel in my hometown of Joplin, MO. A friend from out of town had stayed a few weeks back at the Towne Place Suites Marriot, and had been very pleased. I found the hotel to be clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced.

Area recommendations

The neighborhood around this hotel is upscale, safe, and close to Range Line Road--which goes North and South through the major business and shopping section of Joplin. A Cracker Barrel restaurant is within sight of the hotel, and the food and service there was very good.

“One night stay at hotel”

This hotel is a well maintained and was a good choice for us for an overnight stay in Joplin. It is frequented by longer term stay guests, so, we had a refrigerator, stove, and microwave in our room. Beds were comfortable and the hotel accommodated a request for a room on an upper floor away from the elevator.

“Nice shopping time”

It was a nice place the only thing I can even come up with is the hot and cold are backwards in the tub/shower. Once you figure that out its ok.
