VIP access got moved to a newly renovated "Smart“ Room. I was only planning to spend one night in Hong Kong by myself, so I was going to keep it simple and only spend 100 bucks. My wife joined me last minute with low expectations after finding out how much I spent. She was pleasantly surprised and thought the room was cute. 5 minute walk to the subway. The room was small, but it didn't feel that small the way they utilized the space. For a little over a 100 USD after taxes I think it's a good deal. The staff was nice and was kind enough to store the breast milk my wife pumped in their restaurant freezer. I didn't give it Excellent ratings simply because I am comparing to other more luxurious hotels I've stayed at, but given the price I'd say it was excellent. My only complaint was that the TV remote didn't work that well.

We stayed 4 nights at Nathan's hotel in May 2015. We booked a standard room, but they upgraded us to a larger room since the standard room was not available. The front desk person informed us at check-in that the floor below our room is under construction from 10am-7pm. Thus, it would be a bit noisy during the period of construction. However, we hear construction noise starting around 8am. Once we contacted the front desk, the noise level was reduced for 1 hour and got louder as it was approaching 10am. All the other days we stayed at the hotel, the noise started around 9:30am.
Other than the noise, the room was clean and hotel staff were friendly.

"View from rooftop bar worth price alone. Amazing!!"
Chose this as was highly recommended on Trip Advisor and for a very good reason. It's such good value compared to what else is offered at the same price. A big room, great bathroom with Jacuzzi bath, free mini bar on the first night and a Smart phone which you can take out with you during your stay. This gives you unlimited free landline calls to the UK, 3G and hot spots to your own phone when you're out and about in Hong Kong. It's a brilliant idea. Gym is good too, free water. The hotel has a games room with limited games if you are missing your PS4. Good location for the shopping district, 15 minute walk to harbor front. Really recommend this hotel, you wont be disappointed especially the view from the rooftop bar, it has the wow factor that you'd expect in a much more exclusive hotel. Hong Kong is very expensive and you don't get much for money but this truly gives value and comfort and a touch of luxury. We were really not expecting it to be so good for the little money we paid. Highly recommend.
