Beautiful property and great location away from the noise of town but close enough for easy of enjoying. I was a little for "busy season" a lot of stuff closed or operating with minimal hours but still a great time.

Charming, cozy, perfect!
This is our second time staying in these cabins, and has become a mini tradition. We loved our stays, and we're extremely comfortable. The cabins were well stocked and very cozy. The staff are great, and the location is beautiful, and a very quick drive into the main part of Joseph. We highly recommend!

Our second time staying here and we plan to be back again this spring. Great customer service and the hot tub is the perfect way to end the day. Bed is comfy, water pressure is good, and can’t beat the location. Just a short two minute drive to the lake from here.

We have been to the area in the summer but it was a nice change to go in the fall. It was definitely quieter and relaxing without all the tourist traffic. Will definitely be going back in the fall.

The Cabin was absolutely wonderful. It was very clean and cozy. We are planning on comnig back and hopefully staying in the cabin again, though next time for a longer span of time.

The Eagle Cap Chalets were a beautiful and invited place to stay! The staff was incredibly kind and yes, you must get the cinnamon rolls! They were delicious. We have full intentions of coming back and staying here again.

Very clean and quiet. We were on the upper floor of the hotel section. Hot tub was clean and just the right temperature to sit in in a rainy day. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this property.

Had to make a late change to my reservation and they were more than happy to help me out. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Location is great, right next to the tram.

Parking is limited. We had a hard time maneuvering around a large rock in order to park near our room. Wi-Fi was not accessible most of the time. Room was fine.

We had a great 2-night stay. The staff was very friendly. Our room was very clean with plenty of towels (4 of each bath, hand and washcloths). They have a nice coffee and gift shop. Their outdoor pool was clean, as well as their covered hot tub. They provided pool/hot tub towels. Great stay! We would stay here again.

Nice place to stay
I’ve stayed in 20+ hotels this year and I have to say this is one of the cleanest. It’s a great location near the tram, go karts and lake. Not mentioned on the listing but they have a coffee shop, milkshake stand, and mini golf course (where we had a deer and fox join us).

From the Elkhorns to the Wallowas
My husband Ed and I loved our stay at Eagle Cap Chalet. From our home in Sumpter in the Elkhorn Range over to Joseph in the Wallowas we love everything about our life in Eastern Oregon. After 7 years of living in EO we finally made our way over to Joseph. There is a peace in these mountain valleys and Eagle Cap Chalet did not disappoint. Thank you, We will return. A pretty good place to stay....
Nice place to stay. Bed was super comfortable. Staff was friendly. Tiny bathroom. The word "chalets" is a little misleading as it is basically like a hotel with biuildings having multiple rooms. Also, a little spendy for what we got. All in all it was pretty acceptable.

Wallowa Lake Gem
My partner & I volunteer for In A Landscape concerts which are performed at Wallowa Lake every year. First time staying at Eagle Cap Chalets, however definitely not our last! The rooms were charming, clean, comfortable & convenient to lake & historic lodge. The pool & spa were an added plus!
