“So, So...”

We typically stay at the Aspen Suites when we go to Juneau, but we decided to try this hotel because it had the best price on Expedia, and a hot tub. The location is good as far is it's right by Egan, and the airport. However other customers were loud, and the walls were paper thin. When I asked for a shuttle to a nearby store, the receptionist let me know the she didn't have a driver for the day- on saturday. She was not apologetic what so ever, and appeared more interested in filling her nails. Earlier in the day when I had called for a shuttle they front desk had replied that yes they would be happy to take us. What? When we went to sit in the hot tub it was so full of chemicals it stung, and there were about a billion kids in the pool. The room was comfortable, and clean. However I think we'll stick with Aspen Suites next time.

“Rude front desk”

The room was comfortable enough and the location is right across from the airport. They advertise wi-fi, but you have to pay for it. The front desk clerk acted like I was putting her out. She was bothered by having to do any part of her job. There is no shampoo or conditioner in the room, you must ask for it at the front desk where I was not going back to. Luckily I only spent one night since they don't change out the linens daily. The bed was nice, but it was quite expensive. I am returning to Juneau in two weeks and will find elsewhere.

“Good stay”

Nice staff. Fairly clean accommodations. Extended stay residents were a little louder than I normally expect from a hotel, but all-in-all it was a good stay. Although immediately adjacent to the airport, there was very little noise as a result. Fairly close to several restaurants and a short dive to the glacier.

“Everything we expected”

The location of the hotel was within walking distance to the airport. The room was equipped with a complete kitchen area so we were able to prepare meals when we came in from our activities. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and, except for problems with wi-fi connections which were solved after 2 days, we were completely satisfied.

“Juneau's airport hotel”

Overall a pretty basic business hotel steps from the airport.A car is a must if you elect to stay here.Very few eating options within walking distance of the hotel. . The room was small with the kitchennette along one wall.The pillows on my bed were old and smelly.The beds looked well worn out and desperatley in need of replacement.The bedding was not exactly fresh and clean and I requested the secong night to change the bed linens ,which was promptly attended to by the hotel service staff.They also gave me new pillows. Our room was refreshed every other day -bed made,towels changed . I found the room and the bathroom clean. Check ahead with the shuttle service.They are pretty busy and cannot always accomodate your requested times.We had to reach our destination an hour earlier since they did not have service available at our requested time. The breakfast is bagels and cut fruit and coffee.Wish they had something more wholesome- like eggs or oatmeal or cereal The internet is available for a flat fee per stay around 5 dollars,which I liked. Did not use the pool area but saw some families in there.It looked ok.

Area recommendations

This was a pleasure trip and I would recommend tourists to stay near downtown where all the action is. We had to drive down 11 miles each day to the downtown, on the other hand there are some attractions which are actually closer from the airport area - Mendenhall Glacier barely 4 miles, Glacier Gardens around 2 miles.Grocery is close too at Fred Meyer's or Safeway.

“Juneau Deluxe”

Due to flight delays had to forfeit room by not making it to the city that night. However, was traveling to meet up with a group and with their feedback of the hotel and their experience was glad that we didnt arrive that night and have to deal with our room not being available!

“Nothing to write home about”

While the hotel was conveniently located across the street from the Juneau airport, the condition of the hotel left a lot to be desired. For two adults, they only had two towels, and one roll of toilet paper (had to request additional rolls at the check in desk each time we ran out, and they gave us two more towels). The hot-tub was full of hair and the water was murky, as was the water in the pool (didn't swim in it due to how filthy it looked).

Request extra towels right away. Don't expect to have enough toilet paper on-hand.

“Juneau is lucky to have this hotel.”

The staff is very friendly and accomadating. Will stay here next time I am in Juneau.
