Frontier Suites Airport Hotel

It's not fancy but it's clean and comfortable and close to the airport. Best of all is the kitchen in every room complete with full size fridge, stove, dishwasher and microwave plus basic dishes and utensils, which allows great flexibility for meals. Well worth the price in my opinion.

Room was clearly a smoking room although not advertised as one. The jets in the tub were so loud it was as if we were next to heavy machinery. The housekeeper walked in after aparently knocking quietly enough we had no idea she was had knocked. She came in just to ask us when we would be checkig out-we still had two hours before check out time. Overall won't stay again.

This was my first stay at this hotel and booked it sight unseen. When I arrived I was not overly impressed with the outside and the grounds and the lobby was barely mediocre. However when I got to my room all that changed. I had one of the suites on the 4th floor and it was enormous to say the least. Full bath with a huge Jacuzzi tub for two. Large dining area with a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, full fridge and oven. A large family area with sleep sofa, large chair, plenty of tables and a 32" Flatscreen TV. The bedroom was quite large with a comfy king bed and large closet. My only complaint was the bathroom was a little far from the bedroom, but that gives you an idea of the size of the suite. Everything had a like new appearance including the utensils and dishes in the kitchen. Compared to most of the hotels priced the same this is way more value. Close to the airport and about a 15 minute drive down Egan Hwy to downtown Juneau. I will definitely stay again on my next trip to Juneau.

This was our third stay in this hotel. The rooms are relatively roomy and very comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. The service is generally very good. The best is that the rooms come with a kitchen, which includes full size refrigerator, full size stove, microwave and dishwasher and some basic utensils, pots and pans and dishes. More can be had on request. It makes it much easier to deal with meals, especially for families or people with special diets. It's like having almost all the comforts of home.

My wife and I have been traveling to Juneau for fishing five time during the past eight years. The Frontier Suites Hotel is by far the best choice for anyone who wants plenty of room, a clean hotel and helpful staff.
