Just ok

pretty standard room, not cheap. A bit noisy . The view is obscured by a building directly between the hotel and the water. It is convenient but that's about it. The desk staff were useless.

The room was spacious & very nicely appointed. The staff was helpful when I had problems getting on line with my computer. They handled our luggage for us prior to our cruise. The only downside: for the price, one would expect that breakfast would be included. We did receive 10% off on the hotel breakfast--but it was very pricey.

Nice hotel convenient to downtown Juneau

Posted Jun 3, 2015
We arrived early (9 am) and were pleasantly surprised to be able to check in. The hotel is across the street from the small cruise boat dock (70+ passenger), and so was very convenient for us. The rooms were modern and clean, with very comfortable beds. The restaurant in the hotel was not very good, but the hotel does not own it and so has no control over this. Free shuttle service back to the airport at the end of our stay was also a plus. Would definitely stay there again!

Nice Hotel Nice view of mountains

Posted Jan 25, 2015
Pros: Nice big rooms, nice view, and good food.
Location: Juneau is a sleepy town in the winter. Due to global warming- no snow! usually skiing. Hiking. Theatre.
I don't know if there are any great hotels in Juneau. This was spacious, warm, clean and convenient to downtown and airport. Staff was low key but always courteous and helpful. The restaurant was very good and there is another pub like place across the street that is also popular and good. I would definitely stay there again.

I appreciated the cleanliness of the room and the newness of the furnishings. I especially appreciated how friendly and helpful the staff at the front desk were! I was able to walk to nearby establishments to eat and shop and my conference was only a block away. I got to watch the totem pole ceremony which left me in awe.

Not there long, but...

We were only in Juneau for about 12 hours and needed a place to stay before we went to the airport after a cruise. Could have stayed at the Goldbelt for a few more nights! Very nice room, decent location on the water.

I would stay here again. The had a fan in the room which I like a lot. The beds were really comfy and the rooms are large.
