Phone didn't work in my room, the lamp was broken and the tub didn't drain. The restaurant and bar were closed during our stay, which was inconvenient.

Pros: The friendly staff.
Cons: The restaurant food
Location: Very convenient to the airport, and van service to airport and ferry was included.
The staff were very friendly, and the price included van service to and from airport and ferry, which really made the room a good value. The room was very clean. We were awakened at 4 a.m. by a false fire alarm, which gave us a story to tell.

The people working at the hotel were very friendly and accommodating from loaning their car to dropping us off at nearby restaurants and sights. We felt like we made some good friends and will definitely return.

Close to the airport

I was happy that the room was clean and the beds were comfortable, but the hotel itself appeared old and in need up updating. The pool is closed, and from other reviews I have read, will not reopen anytime soon. There is a restaurant on site, and service there is dependent on your server. We had great service one day and terrible the next. The hotel is also close to the airport. If I were to stay in town again, I would most likely stay at the Extended Stay across the street. We spent one night there due to a flight cancellation, and it was much nicer.

Pros: Location to the airport.
Cons: The staff and the lack of a usable pool

We arrived at 2 pm and was told we could not check in until 3.30 pm, and to come back later.. The first morning, I awoke to hotel staff trying to break into my room at 6 am, thankfully, I had secured the door with the inside flip lock and they were unable to get in. This made me feel very insecure. I booked this hotel for the pool and yet the pool was closed everyday for the four days I was there for "daily cleaning".

Pros: I liked the cleanliness of the room and the way the room was set up. There was a shelf/desk area outside the bathroom with a big mirror.
Cons: The pool was being worked on so it was not open. However, as it turned out I didn't have time to swim.
Location: The hotel is very close to the airport and not too far from downtown.
We stayed in this hotel for a week, ate at the restaurant a number of times and enjoyed the lounge a few times. In every area, the staff was friendly and courteous. We were gone during the day but when we came back in the evening our room was always clean and neat. We would definitely stay there again if we are ever back in Juneau.
