First and probably only review of a hotel. It was wonderful. The staff was fantastic - really went out of their way to make our family comfortable. The concierge was extremely helpful in planning our outings. We were able to receive an upgraded complimentary room. I feel like the staff remembered who we were even though hundreds of people were there.

we stayed in the main tower. the views are better there, and it looked recently renovated. it was very spacious with probably the best views in town. it's centrally located but a long walk from the subway stations. fortunately you can take the shuttle that goes down to the stations every hour. we kept missing these but the taxi fares seoul are the cheapest in the world for a major global city. the room was spacious and it was a great place to retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city.

We were greeted by friendly and helpful staff as soon as we arrived at the hotel late at night. We were also given a coupon booklet for Lotte department store nearby, as well as complimentary face masks, which we were grateful for after a long journey to Korea! The rooms, although a little small, were clean and included a tv and safe.

The location is what makes the hotel a great find. It is within two minutes of Chungmuro station, and from there, there is access to Seoul's amazing subway system. Also nearby are a number of places that are open 24 hours, so there are always something to eat if you can't sleep (jetlag). There is an amazing movie theater nearby and its close to Myeong-Dung, this very famous shopping area. The staff was always courteous. There is an Italian place on the lobby floor, which is great. The cleanup staff was very efficient and they leave 2 free bottles of water every morning. I notice some hotels charge a lot for any drinks in the fridge.
This was a great place. I will come back here on my next trip to Seoul...

This area (sometimes spelt Jung-Gu) is just to the southeast of downtown Seoul. Its name literally means 'central district' since it was once the heart of the old city. It covers the city's premium business district and the east part of Namsan Park. The National Theatre and Myongdong shopping area can also be found here – the latter is the upmarket fashion centre of Korea.
