we stayed in the main tower. the views are better there, and it looked recently renovated. it was very spacious with probably the best views in town. it's centrally located but a long walk from the subway stations. fortunately you can take the shuttle that goes down to the stations every hour. we kept missing these but the taxi fares seoul are the cheapest in the world for a major global city. the room was spacious and it was a great place to retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The hotel is close to the city and provides shuttle buses to several different stops all over the city. Great for tourist who do not speak Korean but would like to explore the city by themselves. It's a great place for family and young couples planning to spend most of time going around Seoul but would like a nice place to rest at night.

I stayed two times in this hotel in April, 2015, about 5 nights per each stay.
I got a discounted prices, and Summit was great for those prices. There are only two things I would mention for the better quality, though. One is the street noise coming through room window. The sound proof is not excellent. It is not horrible, but any sensitive persons would have some difficulties to get quite sleep. Another thing is the temperature control system. It is central controlling system to select heating or cooling. Even though there is decent ranges to adjust temperature on the gauge, but you cannot switch from Heat to Cool, or Cool to Heat, it is useless. When I was there it was a bit cold, and I tried to increase temperature higher so that I set to 25°C. But the system cannot heat it up since at that season all systems are set only for Cooling! And I got cold.
Otherwise, it is very good hotel at friendly location. I would highly recommend it for summer and winter season so that you do not need to worry about switching heat to cool.
Their breakfast buffet was good for the price. Do forget to ask coupons for your breakfast.
very secure and friendly facility from my personal view.

Given the budget that we had, overall it is quite a pleasant stay. Everything is quite convenient. Airport bus 6001 stops right at the front of the hotel at regular intervals (14000 won / adult). Coming out from the main hotel door, to the right, is the direction of Dongdaemun area with plenty of shoppings, restaurants & 24 hr convenient stores... all within 10-20 mins of walking. We took the family room with 1 queen size bed & 2 single beds and we are very happy with the size of the room. The mattress is abit soft but that's just personal preference. Toilet is kinda small but it has all the basic toiletries & hot shower. Bear in mind that all the rooms have a boiler system that regulates the under-floor heating & hot shower. Read the instructions carefully to avoid unnecessary discomfort. Each room has their own air-cond unit and you might need some help with the remote control (it's in Korean language). Cable TV channels (mainly Korean channels) & wi-fi router are also available in our room. This hotel has a daily housekeeping schedule so no worries on that. No comments on the breakfast because we booked our room without the breakfast. Just expect the basics from this hotel (not like the 4-5 star hospitality treatment)... and everything will be alright. Have a pleasant stay, everyone!

This area (sometimes spelt Jung-Gu) is just to the southeast of downtown Seoul. Its name literally means 'central district' since it was once the heart of the old city. It covers the city's premium business district and the east part of Namsan Park. The National Theatre and Myongdong shopping area can also be found here – the latter is the upmarket fashion centre of Korea.
