"Awesome short visit!"
We were only in Maui for one night and are so happy we chose the Hyatt. The hotel itself is beautiful. The room was spacious for the 4 of us, and the beds were comfy. Although out room was on the side of the hotel closest to the construction next door, we didn't hear a thing. The penguins were too cute and the pool was lots of fun. Getting a chair was a bit of a problem , but we were in the water most of the time, so chairs didn't really matter. The hotel location can't be beat.

"Family friendly vacation spot"
The room was a decent size, great view of the pond, pool, and a slither of ocean. Kids loved the large size bathtub with jets for bubble baths. Friendly hotel staff, but don't expect more than what you paid for. Because they're a timeshare location, they're not generous on the upgrade, just the best room location given what you purchased. Clean outdoor BBQ grills are great. Not quite like home, but pretty close. We got a room in the North complex and everything was newly renovated, so no complaints about the quality of the bedding and mattresses. The Kaanapali beach was the best part of the stay. The location is excellent. It's just far enough from all the general tourist traffic in Kaanapali passing through, but great shuttle service to Lahaina and main Kaanapali mall area. Would definitely return.

"Beach property, nice pool, close to Lahaina"
We had a nice time at the Aston Maui Kaanapali Villas. We rented 2 rooms and both were really nice. One had a king bed and a sleeper sofa. The balcony was one of the largest as it wrapped around and had lots of room to hang out, visit, sit and read a book. The room was clean and decorated aloha style, but very tastefully. The bathroom had a step up shower and was well done. The kitchen had everything we needed, not fancy, but nice. The second room had 2 doubles and a sleeper. It too was spacious and had a big bathroom with a separate toilet/shower/tub area than the vanity. The kitchen had upgrades with granite and stainless steel appliances. Both met our needs perfectly. Beach towels were easy to get and as many as you needed. There were great books available to read at no charge. There is a convenience store that has just about everything you need. Pool is not like the big resorts, but it is very nice and has a jacuzzi. Grounds are well kept. Restaurant food and drinks were great. You can rent beach chairs, cabanas, snorkels, etc on property at beach. Beach is nice and quiet. That was a plus.
