Kaga is located approximately 190 miles (306 kilometers) from Tokyo, the national capital, and about 85 miles (137 kilometers) from Nagoya.
Kaga is not the only place in this popular region worth seeing; travelers can also rent a vehicle and set off to explore the charms of the surrounding landscapes, cities and cultural attractions. Hakusan, lays 20 miles (32 kilometers) to the southwest, while Kanazawa is situated 25 miles (40 kilometers) to the southwest.
When it's time to explore beyond Kaga, why not visit the nearest center. Fukui lies 17 miles (27 kilometers) away and features visitor attractions such as Asuwayama Park, Fukui Prefectural Stadium and Fukui Prefectural Museum of Cultural History. Fukui Castle Ruins, Yokokan Garden and Maruoka Castle are also good spots for calling into while you are in Fukui.
