Well-located hotelPosted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: Clean and is located in a nice area.
Cons: Change the name of the hotel.
The hotel was located on the water front, right beside the cinema. It is within walking distance to shopping area and restaurants. The hotel is clean, rooms are spacious and staff friendly. It is somewhat pricey.

Nice hotel close to beachPosted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: Roomy accommodations, convenient laundry.
Cons: Furniture comfort, sticky door, restaurant restored to operation.
Location: Right across the road from beach and close to downtown Kaikoura.
Nice quiet location across from beach, short walk to town. Restaurant had fire in November 2013 and was not open June 2014. Roomy accommodations on two levels with one and a half baths. Sofa was not comfortable but otherwise furnished ok.

Very clean hotel that is near to the main touristy stuff like the visitor center and it's near to the main part of town as well.

Waking Up In ParadisePosted May 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
I had never stayed at the White Morph before and was not sure what to expect. We were using the hotel as a stopping point on our road-trip. Reality was that it blew my mind, and I cannot wait to stay there again. We arrived at check-in and the receptionist was friendly, helpful and had already gone up to pre-heat our room! I have never experienced service like that before! We woke up to a picture-perfect sunrise over the water, with the mountains in the background. It was stunning. Sitting out on the balcony in our complimentary robes, we felt like royalty. We had the Spa Suite over looking the beach, and I can definitely say it was worth every cent. The spa bath was fantastic - could easily fit two, and the shower was great as well. The room was extremely clean and had the nicest waffle carpet. I especially liked the art in the lounge area - not just the usual boring, generic 'hotel' art. The location was perfect - only a five minute walk to the shops / dinner. But it was just far enough away to feel private and peaceful. The room was wonderful, the service fantastic, and the view alone is worth the drive.
