Perfect break awayPosted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: Everything, right down to the baby calves we played with!
Location: We decided not to leave The Tamara. Why would you?
The Tamara, away from the bustle of city life, was the perfect antidote to pollution, noise and traffic. The bungalows are spacious and have everything you need; the meals were delicious and the choice incredible. Staff were courteous and helpful and always greeted you with a smile. And the jaggery coffee that was provided as a welcome drink was to die for!

Beautifully maintained facilitiesPosted Sep 24, 2013
Pros: Facilities, Hospitality
Cons: Can arrange for more activities in and around the resort.
Location: Trekking, Plantation walks, Visits to nearby places like Madikeri, Tala Cauvery etc.
I stayed at The Tamara, Coorg over a weekend in Sep'13. The resort is one of the most beautifully maintained resorts that I have ever seen considering that it is only a couple of years into operation. The staff members are extremely courteous and are always ready to make your stay all the more comfortable. The best part about the facilities is there is minimum carbon footprint and that adds to the overall ambiance. I would love to go back again.
