“Clean, comfortable - Definately would stay again”

“Not happy with the service”

For 2 days our room toilet did not work. I asked front desk twice, left note for the cleaning service - nothing was done until I took a plunger and fixed it myself. What a great service. Also, I asked twice that TV remote wasn't working - no response.

“Overall a good hotel”

We stayed here over Labor Day weekend because we couldn't find anything closer to the water. We read the reviews and were aware of the potential negatives of the hotel before we booked. We thought the staff was all really nice. There were things that could have been better...some stains on the bedding, floor not swept our second day, breakfast selection was good, but not a lot of healthy options like we read on another review. Aside from those minor irritations we had a nice stay and would stay again. The convience of the hotel next to the highway was really nice since we traveled it daily. Even though we were right beside the highway, it didn't seem like it at all because of the trees and we really didn't even hear it.

Area recommendations

It's not in this specific city, but our favorite places we went were South Haven and St Joseph and plan to go back next summer!

“Fit my needs”

The hotel is an older building with older decor. It offered a free breakfast, was easy to check-in, and fit my needs for the stay.

“Not impressed”

I stayed at this motel two times. The employees are great. The beds are ok but the rugs are nasty and wet. I dont if they are trying to clean them and keep the rooms occupied also. The first time I stayed, the air condition was so loud I had to change rooms. The toilets dont flush good. This was my last time staying there. I needed more towels and they said they didnt have any more clean. this could be a good hotel to stay in but it needs to touch up their conditions.

We stay here every year when visiting family. It always is a nice place to stop.

The hired staff was nice, The rooms were musty smelling and the laundry room dryer cost me 3x the norm because the main vent needed cleaning. Did not appreciate the computer in the lobbly being used by small children playing games into late hours of the night. The breakfast was okay -- liked the biscuits & gravy.
