“Great proximity to WMU”

Easy access to hotel from the interstate and to WMU from the hotel. Hotel is in a quiet neighborhood. We would stay again if we visited Kalamazoo. Staff was friendly and helpful when we requested more towels. Would like to see a larger breakfast area - it was quite cramped Saturday morning and the hotel was not even full.

“Afforable and comfortable”

Good service at the desk. The morning and evening desk clerks were very accomodating. The room was comfortable and quiet but somewhat dated. Only complaints are the bathrooms are too small and my tub drain ran slow (I don't like standing in dirty water when I shower). No problems with the wireless internet. Comfortable chair to work in. The complimentary breakfast was ok and what you might expect for a free hotel breakfast. I would recommend the hotel but be prepared to ask about restaurants in the area because nothing is in walking distance. I did find a decent burrito place about 1.5 miles NE.

Stayed 2-nights and all was well. A bit pricy but so are the rest of the motels in Kalamazoo.

“Soccer Family”

The hotel was close to the site of the soccer tournament. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was disappointing. Food was cold and/or not replenished often. (There were a lot of teams staying at the hotel so they should have known in advance to have an extra person on hand to help with the food).

Convenient location. Adequate room size-I stayed for 11 days and was disappointed with daily cleaning of bathroom. Carpets were not that clean but the rest was fine. Hot breakfast was nice. Staff is extremely helpful and very friendly which made up for any other disappointing things-they were nothing short of amazing.
