“A pretty good value”

Nice hotel, kind of out in the middle of nowhere, which did make it quiet. Everything was good. I needed an accessible room, and it did have some with good roll-in showers. A little bit of a drive to some good restaurants, though.

“DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!”

This is an "extended stay" hotel as I was constantly being told by the manager and hotel staff. What that means is they only clean your room every 7 days (we stayed 4, so too bad for us). We had to take out our own trash, get our own towels, toilet paper, shampoo and soap. The manager and the hotel staff were rude and extrememly unhelpful. We were made to feel like houseguests that have overstayed their welcome. I have never been so disappointed with a hotel stay and I have been travelling for work for 25 years. We stayed at the hotel for a baseball tournament, so I guess we did not fit their usual profile. No excuse for the way were made to feel. From the time of check-in, I was trying to upgrade to a larger room, but was told each time "there is nothing available right now, check back later". They never offered to put my name on a list for when one came available, just said "check back later. One time I did check, they said they had one available, but were waiting for a fax confirmation from the person reserving it, if it did not come within 10 minutes, I could have the room. I waited in the lobby, after 10 minutes, the manager said, the room is not available, no "I'm sorry for the mixup", just "its not available". The hotel was 3 times the cost of other hotels in the area, I thought the extra cost would get extra service and a nicer room. Exactly the opposite happened, no service and the room was a standard room with 2 dbl beds. But it did have a "kitchenette". Just awful.
