Long hairs in the bathtub, large crumbs on the desk chair and tape on the walls. I don’t think anything in our room had been dusted in months. We went primarily for the pool and hot tub which were stained at the bottom and the water was dirty also no towels in the pool area.

Decent hotel, bathrooms could use some updating. Shower curtains weren’t long enough and when you took a shower, the water went all over the floor. Staff was nice and attentive.

The heat in the room did not work. We had it at 75 and it was maybe 68. Curtains in the room were filthy. Hotel room was very dingy. No Kleenex in the room wither, was never stocked. For paying almost $200, I expected a lot more.

We reserved a king room. Upon check in opened room and it was 2 queens. Went back to desk and we were told there was nothing they could do they didn’t have any more open kings available. Also on website says it has a pool and hot tub both closed both nights we were there! Took a shower no conditioner! Last stay at a Marriott!

There were kids everywhere running up and down the halls yelling and screaming all day and early in the morning. They appeared to be family of staff and nothing was being done about it. Since it was New years eve night, everyone was trying to sleep in and this wasnt possible because of the kids. We had to leave early.

The Staff was great, friendly greeting checking in and each morning and afternoon I was in and out. You ECO focus, I couldn't figure out how it worked. My bed did not need remade, but O would have enjoyed a couple of fresh towels, at least someone checking the bathroom. The breakfast had nice choices, but the eggs and meats were cool, not quite luke warm. They were tasty.

We’ve stayed here before. We prefer this location over the other because it’s usually quiet and very clean,however that was not the case this time. The sheet had an odor to them. We asked to have our room cleaned the housekeeper was extremely rude about it. It was not many people in the hotel, yet they put all of us on the same floor. It was a family across from us that fought both nights we were there. Needless to say we won’t be staying here again.

Terrible smell, no accommodation.
The smell of the room was terrible. Called the front desk and were told that it was sold out and that the room was just cleaned so that was the smell. Smelled like it was sprayed with a disinfectant hours after the check in hour, we checked it at 7:30pm. The terrible smell was still there the next day. It was awful. I’m not sure what they used to clean the room and why it smelled as bad as it it. Very disappointed.

Weird check in as young lady was going off shift and new guy coming on stated he'd never checked anyone in before! Computers were down at frint desk so they took my ID and credit card to another location down the hall. A bit worrisome. Then she left and the new guy had to finish the process. He did ok but you could tell he was uneasy and he certainly wasn't personable. Once he had our room keys ready he sais he wanted to go see that they worked-leaving us in lobby. Returned n told us the keys we're working. We proceeded to our room where he had left door propped open n lights on. Hmmmm

Terrible service, unsafe conditions, and rooms was not cleaned or prepared properly. My door was unlocked and open upon checking in. I’m a female and was very uncomfortable seeing my door could have been accessed by potentially anyone. Do not book for this Fairfield Inn Marriott in Battle Creek.

The girl who checked me in was friendly and engaging. The hotel was clean. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was very nice and the ladies at the desk were polite and friendly.

Nice place, convenient to a Lot of food options, as well as the casino where we were seeing a concert that night. Staff was very friendly, room was very clean and nice, and we will definitely look to stay here again!

We have stayed here at least 5-6 times and after the last two, we will not be returning. It did us in after a roach was on our bathroom towel the night before we left. Always out of coffee, breakfast ends too early, the previous stay in April, we had ants in the bathroom. Thought we would give it one more chance since we are use to staying, but we will sadly be finding somewhere else from now on.

The pool was broken. The air conditioning in the dining area wasn’t sufficient. The staff in the kitchen area was sitting around while the coffee pots were empty. The hallways and stairwells needed upkeep. The room was clean.

One big problem was trying to sleep with large bright lights shining into our room all night. The curtains were sheer with no movable curtains to cover them. Don't get a room facing the motel next door, go for rooms on the other side of the building. The room, breakfast and staff were great. We stayed on the 3rd floor.
