My niece had her MODA fashion show here...loved that the venue was right next to the hotel. Venue was very nice. Hotel was great...clean, updated, comfortable and friendly staff...I think the sign from 11th St should be a bit bigger..we did pass up the parking lot due to the the small signage but other than that, we found it and it was a great experience all the way around.
First of all let me start with the beds and pillows were excellent! However as soon as we got off the elevator to go to our room the smell was awful. It smelled like old milk or something. Apparently it was the same on the third floor where our friends were staying. It was so bad that I covered my nose to go down to the pool. Thankfully it did not make it into our room.and it did seem to dissipate as the night went on The pool was fine, however the hot tub didn’t seem to have any way to turn on jets so it was more like a very warm tub with like 4 jets (that had very small children in it which was kind of annoying) On check out the odd smell in the hallway was replaced by the stench of weed. I mentioned it to the staff and it seemed were going to deal with it
Friendly staff clean spacious room, pool

Pros: staff was very friendly. The pool room was nice and entertaining for the kids. Location is in a quiet spot of town. Good beer menu at the bar.
Not so great: for being renovated from top to bottom just five years ago, this place is looking run down. Our carpets in our room were straight up gross. Like frosting and chocolate ground into the carpet. Carpet pulling away from the walls. Dead bugs in the corners. Same in the hallways. For some reason used to have a thermostat, but when they removed it they just ripped it off the wall? Caulk coming up in the bathroom that could be such an easy fix for a maintenance staff that gave a darn about the property. The condition of the property is what you’d expect at an $89 room, not $150.
Nice hotel. Staff hasn’t seemed all to welcoming.
The Hot tub is closed off and when we politely asked the security guard why, he replied with “I don’t know, it’ll be open when it opens” then continued to walk away.
Pool was cold & cloudy, didn’t seem too clean.
My nephew swam for a little while tho and was fine.
Only thing i did not like is a 100 dollar deposit that will not be refunded right away. I do not like that at all. If you take a deposit it should be returned as soon as you checkout
This place should just shut down. 1st room was 78 degrees and air conditioning wasn’t working so they moved me to a new room. New room did not look vacuumed and there were no bath towels. There was a used hand towel in the bathroom. Dirty, stained carpeting in my room and all through the hotel. The lobby doors were terribly filthy. Clearly big housekeeping problems here. Disgusting. I will never stay again.
staff was grate but water in da pool was cold tv on one of rooms didn’t work i just went for the hot tub it wasn’t available i could not cancel my reservation
The pool was under construction and didn't know until you read the fine print.Room was nice and bed comfy.TV didn't work we had to play with the cables and got it to work. The body wash they had in the shower was out.
Very disappointing to say the least. Location is hard to find the signage is very small and the property is located back off the main road. Next we booked online and the site did not mention the 1 main amenity, the pool was closed until further notice due to renovations, that was a total drag. The cleanliness of the room was very mediocre and bare minimum standard and expectation of a Marriott property. The linens was extremely wrinkled and mismatched, they had dollar store cups in the rooms with 2 store bought waters, the towels looked and felt as if they came from dollar tree not to mention this was thee loudest most uncomfortable stay in a long time .. the tv heater and person in next room made the most noise making it a restless night .. I must say this was a disappointing stay for four stars on the sight … I would not recommend or stay here again unless it was a last resort … The bar closed at 11 on a Friday too smh … no fun in the area or at the property ⭐️ one star
The front desk staff and the restaurant staff were excellent. Unfortunately, the pool area was under renovation for our stay so we didn’t get to use it.
Our check in staff were amazing! She was friendly and so helpful. There was a group of about 5 kids that did not have wrist bands or an adult with them splashing and stepping on people resting in the hot tub. There was a complete disregard for pool/hot tub rules. At about 8p a dog in the room below us started barking very loudly.
When we arrived we noticed box elder bugs on the window and dead on the floor.
Room was nice, much better than the hotel I came from. The only thing that bothered me was that the shower didn’t look like it was cleaned. There was stuff on the bottom of the tub and there was a used washcloth strung up over the shower head.
Overall the stay was positive and accommodations were solid. I will say that the room generally did not feel the most clean. When I arrived there was a sort of old musty smell to the room and there were spots that weren't very clean, such light switches and desk space etc

Disappointed
Check in took 15 minutes because the person in front of us was having issues and there was a line at the front desk. We waited 15 minutes for a 3-minute check-in. Also coffee was $4.25 so we left early. One more thing - the toilets make so much noise you can here everyone flush in the rooms next door. Disappointed. Will not stay here again.
The photos presented on Hotels.com (where we booked) really presented an stark contrast from what we experienced. The bar/dinning room was pitch black and closed. It actually made us feel like we were arriving at the Shining hotel. It took a really long time to have someone greet us and check-in. When we actually made it to our room the hallway was littered with about a dozen random wine glasses and beer glasses outside our room. And to top it all off, around 9:30-10pm the power went out in the building. After conferring with the front desk staff the ETA on power to return to the building was about 5:30am. Then to top it all off, when we were going to check out, both sets of elevators were not working. We were on the 4th floor and had a cart full of luggage for us and our toddler that we had to lug down 3 flights of stairs. The say the least, this was probably the most disappointing hotel experience I've had in the past decade and I travel a lot for business and personal trips.
Lovely hotel. Active, efficient, kind, and effective front desk. Restaurant isn't bad. Beer selection is amazing.
The hotel location will necessitate driving, but there's free parking. Access into town isn't difficult, though it's probably 10-15 minutes from downtown.
