“First time stay”

This hotel was very comfortable. A fire place in the room was like being at home.

“Nice overall, but..”

The hotel, overall, was nice. Staff was very friendly. The hotel room was very large, and had a GREAT kitchen. It is better than the kitchen at my own house! I loved that french doors led to the second bedroom, and that there were two bathrooms. There are, however, two things I think this hotel should address: the bathtubs and the parking. The bathtubs in our bathrooms looked dirty and outdated. This was surprising given the quality of the kitchen. Also, the limited parking could frustrate some guests. This last complaint wasn't too bothersome, but I could see how older people or people with physical handicaps would be bothered by it. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and I'd stay there again.

“Waiting for another great vacation!”

I took my 2 year old with me to the hotel and we had a great vacation. The hotel room was spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful...I am really looking forward to going back again soon.

“Very practical”

The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The kitchenette in my room was better stocked than expected; such a pleasant surprise. The gym are is small, but adequate. The continental breakfast is pretty standard, but plentiful, and the dining area is nice. It's only a 10 minute drive into downtown Kalamazoo. I would definitely stay there again.

“Great Stay”

This hotel was great. They bumped us up to a two bedroom suite. It had a full kitchen and two bathrooms. The breakfast was very nice. Hot food and the usual cold offerings. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. We would stay here agian without a doubt.

“Very comfortable and accomodating”

We stayed at the Residence Inn for a weekend in March 2007. We were very pleased with the room. The full breakfasts were great with everything from muffins and bagels to sausage, eggs and self-make waffles. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The beds were VERY soft. We would stay there again!

“More than Expected....”

A few miles away from the hub-bub of the university, this is a quiet alternative! Besides the attrative, spacious room, the breakfast lady was very cordial and accomodating, fixing a brimming tray of breakfast items for us to enjoy in our room [full kitchen, including a breakfast counter seating two]. Catering to extended-stay travellers, the staff will even take your grocery list and go shopping for you. Who could ask for more from a reasonably priced establishment?!

“Two nice nights”

When we checked in the lobby was full with a very noisy group of traveling sports players and their parents and coaches. I have to admit I was very worried that I would not be able to sleep because of noise. But that was not the case. It was very quiet in our room for both nights. Everything was very comfortable. The breakfast was great too, enough for everyone including the athletes.

I had a great experience here. The room was nice -- the breakfast was nice as well.

“Nice folks”

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very large, well-appointed rooms. Convenient to the airport (free pickup/dropoff) and to my work destination. Not a fancy place but a great value for the money.
