“5 star??”

This hotel was fine as far as Kalgoorlie goes. However, it lacked some of the features I expect of a 5 star hotel. Firstly, they charged 1.5% for using my credit card to pay for meals, etc. Secondly, there were no bathrobes or slippers. the spa bath was lovely and looked clean, but a quick feel around the rim told me it hadn't been scrubbed properly, though it was once I asked for it. It was too cold to go swimming in the outdoor pool, but there was a lot of dirt on the floor of it, making that an unattractive proposition anyway. There was no gym. The location was okay, quiet, but there is nothing around it except a Harvey Norman outlet. I believe this is the best one can do in Kalgoorlie, but it doesn't quite rate as 5 star.
