"4 star excellent hotel for all holiday makers. ya"
10 day package tour to Rhodes is ideal. transfer is smooth as a lot of airport staff spoke English. Kresten Palace, in Kalathea is a 4* hotel, The sister hotel 5 star apartment at the Kresten Royal is luxuries with excellent facilities. The staff are helpful and pleasant. Waitress were super efficient, quick and very pleasant.
The rooms were exactly as described. Can see the sea from balcony! The main pool was also a stone throw away but in no way disturbed us.
The food was fantastic- for non vegetarians .For Vegetarians it was monotonous but then the local restaurants provided some variations Greek style. The breakfast was fantastic and varied.
The evening entertainment was OK; kids seemed to love it. The water park, and the town Rodes are close, infect the local bus stopped just outside the Hotel. We found the charges confusing but always thought that the bus drivers were not to be messed about. Keep lots of change for traveling.
We tried water sports in Falaraki. Safety was good.
We eventually found the beach which was pleasant and if you are a good confident swimmer you could snorkel. The sea was lovely.August is the hottest month in Rhodes.
Found Rhodes as expensive as England.
Look out for the nice smiley receptionist helpfu

The hotel is classed as 4* but like many resort hotels is 'tired' and in need of some refurbishment. The staff are extremely professional, friendly and attentive. The food was out of this world with choices to suit every pallet. Always hot and fresh. The rooms although basic were spotlessly clean. The common areas well kept and comfortable. Ample facilities and entertainment to suit all ages. Local buses regular for trips to local towns and taxi prices published and controlled. We would certainly considering returning to the same resort.

I read many reviews of Eden Roc before booking - most were positive but a few were negative. I'm very glad to say my experience was completely positive. Being greeted on arrival with the words 'you've been upgraded' is always a good start, although as it was end of season there were a lot of empty rooms to be had. The room (415) was great, not sure if classed as a larger room or smaller suite, with garden and beach views. Staff always very friendly and helpful, meals (was half board so breakfast and dinner) good too with wide choice. Animations staff very friendly, always something on every day so great if you have kids. Perhaps in high season the hotel (pools & beach) would be very crowded, but that could be true for a lot of the island - if you don't like crowds, I'd recommend another country/destination entirely in high summer or book this hotel in May/June or September/October only. The hotel is very well placed for sightseeing - Rhodes town only 15 (ish) minutes away by car and, as it's right next to a main road, other highlights (Kalithea Springs, Tsambika Bay, even Lindos) are easy to reach. All in all, really enjoyed the stay. Well kept and run hotel, made even better by visiting at a quiet time of year. If you are looking for an early or late season destination I'd definitely recommend this.

The exterior features were good, many deck chairs at pool were broken. Food/drink was not available all day-bar didn't open til 5PM. Some meals were ok, breakfast was terrible. Snack bar was supposed to have snacks-one day none was available. Beer available all day but no other alcoholic drinks. Patio attached to room was filty but room itself was clean. Bar closed at 11PM and had to pay for drinks after that. I paid for extended check out but wasn't told that any food would be extra so got charged more than the full day all-inclusive rate. When I complained, they reduced the charge to the one day all-inclusive rate but I thought it should have been prorated as I only ate lunch...and it wasn't very good. However, overall I thought the place to be acceptable.

This was my first time at this hotel and I rate it as one of the best I've ever stayed in. The lobby, rooms, pools complex and gardens are stunning, but it is the feel of hospitality and genuine welcome given by the entire staff which make staying there so memorable. The food was excellent and the buffet choice and quality at breakfast and dinner were outstanding. I can see why people return to this hotel year after year and will definitely stay there again - hopefully next year.
