“Better than I expected for a 2 star inn”
I booked a non-smoking room with two bedrooms. My room was clean, comfortable, had a nice view. Everything I needed was provided, including a small kitchenette. Wireless internet was also reliable and easy to access. Furthermore, the inn was located in a very convenient location. It is very close to other shops and also to TRU. If you expect the place to be modern and completely new, then book a room in a different hotel. But if you just want a nice and comfortable place to stay overnight in Kamloops (that also won't break the bank), I would recommend this inn.
“Kamloops_Knight_Inn”
The hotel's owner just been changed and it is under renovations. The sweet part is that there is a link door between the two rooms we reserved, so kids can go directly from one suite to another without using the entrance. Also it has built in small kitchen which is very convenient. The grey part is the hotel is a little bit out of maintenance and lots of parts are worn out or like. The hotel is running by a Indian family and slowly the renovation going there.
“Fair to OK.”
It was LOW priced a night hotel. Rooms were clean and they had clean towels and a small tv. Beds were fair but the pillows were as flat as a pancake. Fridge, microwave and stove was there that we were not expecting to be there. Brakefast was 3 kinds of ceral one loaf of bread, toaster and Choc. muffans and OJ and a gal.of milk. Would recommend to others only if they are on budget and dont mind a 2 star hotel.
“Not impressedat all - dated but clean”
This hotel is in need of an upgrade-okay for one night if you arrive late and leave early but plenty of others in area to choose from instead.
“It's Not the Ritz Carlton...”
To be fair.....the hotel was clean, comfortable and convenient and reasonably priced, especially for this time of year (high summer). The front desk service was clinical- neither friendly nor unfriendly. I gather it is run by a family and that some of the "boys" were working summer jobs. The hotel itself seemed old and in need of a facelift / renovation. The microwave resting on the folding luggage rack suggested a degree of improvisation on the part of the managers. So I hesitate to recommend it as a destination- in fact I wouldn't; but as a place to stay the night going to or from Kamloops it was perfectly adequate.
