“not romantic but great for groups”

Set up like dorms: bedrooms open up to shared kitchenette and bath. Great for families or groups traveling together but wanting some privacy. Much cheaper than multiple rooms. Patio area out back of hotel has amazing view ot river gorge.

“Good for family vacationers”

Unusual, but nice place to stay. It reminded the campus life of my college days a long time ago. It felt strange at first, though. The multi-room suits are really luxurious student dorms with decent double-sized beds. They are ideal for a family with kids or a group of travelers. Depending on the side of the building, the views from bedrooms are nice, although the city is rather boring as a whole, especially after coming back from Banff/Japser.The continental breakfast was convenient, but not quite as good as what I had remembered when I was in college. :) All in all, I would use this one again, especially when traveling in a multi-generational group.

“Kamloops Hotel”

Dont bother looking for another place to stay at Kamloops. This was perfect. Even more so for our family of 5 adults and 3 kids. The place was clean and comfortable, and they give you a decent continental breakfast to get started on your next day's drive. I am glad I chose this place.
