Pass by Kamloops on our way to Alberta, stayed at the Hamptons Inn.
Hotel staff were awesome, to say the least, addressed missing items right away and with such friendliness.
Room were very neat and, dare I say, modern.
Most hotel rooms have no plugs, or plugs are behind cabinets/beds/furnitures, but this place has the plugs built-in to the light fixtures on the night stands and desks for convenience.
Very thoughtful and certainly makes the traveller so much happier with this simple upgrade.
Comfortable beds, and neat showers.
The breakfast available is standard, fresh items.
Overall a great stay at the Hamptons Inn in Kamploops!

They gave us a warm cookie upon checking in! Staff was friendly and the room was clean and looked new. Not particularly big (we had three people in a room with two queen beds, the washroom felt a bit cramped as well) but we only stayed for one night. The $10 buffet breakfast wasn't worth it, IMO - if you have time, take a walk around downtown Kamloops and find another breakfast joint. We happened upon "hello toast" - a family run breakfast place that does amazing eggs benny and toast. Pretty cheap, too, and less than a ten-minute walk from the hotel. The view from the room wasn't amazing, but at $129 a night for 3 people, I wasn't expecting too much. Bottom line, would stay again!
