Good location

We stayed fo two nights. Pretty clean and good location. Staff is nice. The grounds were under construction during our stay so no hot tub or pool.

bleak town with nothing to do

Posted Apr 8, 2014 on Hotels.com
the pool was under construction so there was nothing for me and my children to do. the food options were closed for the season, really pricey, closed due to religion or national chains. the hotel was in disrepair, and the 3 floors that the rooms were on made not having an elevator a huge minus for moving luggage in and out. The breakfast was the best part of the trip.

Fair bed,but not much else to impress

Posted Apr 3, 2014 on Hotels.com
The one thing that matters most to me in a hotel is a decent bed, which is extremely hard to find in mid-price motels. I paid more for Comfort Inn than another hotel we've visited before in Kanab, hoping that we would get a better bed...which we did. It wasn't great, but it was better than the other motel. No room amenities to speak of (no microwave or mini-fridge), which we always use. Outdoor pool and hot tub were in a state of disrepair; it looked like maybe they were being remodeled. It was probably too early in the season to use the outdoor pool, but we definitely would've loved to use the hot tub. Biggest complaint: THIN WALLS. Every time we tried to watch TV, the people in the adjacent room began pounding on the wall. We turned down the volume as much as we possibly could (we could barely hear the audio ourselves), but it evidently was still coming through the walls. Likewise, we could hear everything going on next door. The floors were also very...thin? The 2nd floor creaked beneath each step we took, and the 1st floor can hear every footstep above. The breakfast bar was better than average, except the scrambled egg crumbs, likely made from a powdered egg mix. Fresh fruit, yogurt, juices, waffles, bagels, sausage...very substantial. Not really within walking distance of anyplace in Kanab, except the gas station and Wendy's. Best thing about this hotel: beds and breakfast bar. Worst: thin walls, lack of privacy.

Neat and confortable

Booked this hotel because it is only 4-min walk to the lottery place of THE WAVE. The guy Roman was very helpful, even waived the fees for an additional person for us. The room was neat and comfortable and had microwave! The breakfast was nice: waffles, muffins, cereals, juice...

Dirty hotel

If you are going to stay here don't pay more than $45-50. That is all it's worth.
