“Kanab hotel”

The hotel is nicely located in Kanab and great to seeing the area. The continental breakfast and coffee are very weak. Better coffee and healthier options for breakfast would greatly improve this hotel.

“Good for the price”

This hotel was ok. Great price. Staff very friendly. Could have had a better continental breakfast. Wish pool would have been going.

“They need to do a good cleaning.”

It seems they haven't done a thorough cleaning for quite a while. The windows and doors were filthy and a tray in the bathroom hadn't been wiped down for a very long time. The stairs are crumbling which could become dangerous if not repaired, and the bathroom door didn't close completely. They managed to fill up only because it's in such a convenient place.

“Kanab stopover”

It was dank & dark. Rugs in serious need of shampooing... Desk clerk was helpful. Conti breakfast needs work. Need a few seats in lobby area.

“Would not recommend”

Upon arrival and check-in we entered the room only to find a wade of chewing gum stuck to the carpet just inside the door (could not miss it). Using a paper towel, I removed most of it so it was obvious that there is a lack of housekeeping here. The hotel is in a semi-residential area (relatively low to modest income), so it was a little hard to find. Being a late arrival after a hard days drive, I tried to purchase a coke from the one and only coke machine at the hotel. It didn't work and when I asked the front desk if there was another machine elsewhere, I was told that it was the only one and they guessed it was broken. That much was obvious! Meanwhile while I was in the lobby, a mother and her son was busy filling their room trash cans with ice (no liner or trash bag, but straight to the used trash cans.. While I don't expect much from a "continential breakfast" this was by far the worst one encountered in 9 days of traveling. The room has cable TV and you must use two different remotes, one to turn it on and then another to actually watch TV. This hotel leaves a lot to be desired and I would not recommend nor stay here again.

The hotel is dated and run down. Staff was helpful and did a good job. With what they had to work with.

“Nasty Rodeway Inn !”

Room was SO dirty. There were ants in the bathroom. The bathtub was like you'd expect to see in a boys dorm, again, SO dirty. Also in the bathroom, there was missing trim around the floor and you could see cracks under the wall and again, lots of dirt. The ice machine, where the ice falls out, was covered in dirt. The desk clerk say me looking at it and said, it was broke and that the repair guy didn't work on weekends. I'm here to tell you that had not been used or cleaned for a long, long time. She gave me a little bag of ice cubes that were frozen into a solid chunk. I pad a lot for that horrible room. I will never go there again. Will warn all my family & friends about it and it will think twice before trusting Expedia again. There was one chair in the area of the continental breakfast, which was sparse and unattractive, and it was sort of in the way of the door.
