Help door Markers Held On With Tape , Ripped Carpets, Broken Tile, Water Soiled Walls, Clogged Tub, & Uncomfortably Beds!!!

Run down facilities, bad service.

This hotel is run down from the moment you step into the lobby. Everything is outdated and unappealing. Staff sometimes go missing from the front desk for stretches of time. Room numbers were held on door with masking tape. I would not stay here again.

Hotel was in a safe neighborhood. It could definitely use some work, but overall, not bad. The free wifi was pretty spotty but the continental breakfast was above average.

Pros: The location
Cons: Everything could be improved.
Location: The location was near the Charlotte track.
The room smelled Really BAD. We went to the store and bought cleaning supplies. We cleaned for two hours. There was animal and human hair on the bed. The floors were muddy. No remote for the tv. I took a bath (after Cleaning the tub) in the dark. The light wouldn't stay on. The front desk staff was very nice but they Really need housekeeping bad.

Adequate but needs work and update

Given an uncleaned room upon check-in which was remedied immediately. Second room was not in much better shape but at least the beds were made and no towels lying around. Overall room condition was more like an example of "needs repairs". Decor is dated, room numbers taped to doors. Plus side: comfortable beds, good AC, very quiet area, pleasant staff.

Don't waste your time/money

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Everything outside of the lobby.
Location: Close to the Charlotte speedway
We were coming in from out of town, so we arrived later in the evening (10 p.m.) Exhausted and ready to hit the sack, we started the check in process. The young lady at the counter seemed like she was new. (didn't make me sign anything, didn't engage conversation, and made excuses as to why it was taking more than 15 minutes to check us in). Finally after "having computer problems" she gave us our keys. We tried both keys, and they did not work. So we went back down to the front desk. She said. " I know I did this right, let me try again", redid the keys, and back up (3rd floor) we went. Once again, our key didn't work. As we were walking away, an older man, came out of that room. Embarrassed, and horrified, I explained the situation with him, and he said that they too had a similar problem upon check in. So back down we went again. Again, not apologizing, and making excuses, she got ready to send us to a different room. Still embarrassed, I this time knocked on the door before trying to enter our key. To our surprise, this room was empty. As we walked into the room, the smell of "wet dog" smacked us in the face. The floor (carpet) looked like it was a decade old, and I didn't even want my family walking around the room without shoes on. The bathroom lights, didn't work. At this point, we were so exhausted from our traveling, we lit a candle, and did our best to sleep. The walls must be paper thin, can you could hear EVERYTHING around you. point... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

The outside of the hotel is nice. Our room needed a lot of work. The carpet was worn and nasty. The tv did not have a remote. Our tub filled with water before you could finish a shower because of drain not working right. But the most horrible discovery when packing to leave I found a grocery bag with parties, condoms, fake nails that have been worn, and lubricant. ABSOLUTELY wanted to vomit. Never again will I stay here.

The staff was unfriendly and unprofessional! There were no phones in the room nor a working hairdryer--even two more did not work after getting them from the staff. Actually had to go buy one from a local store! I would not reccomend this hotel to anyone!!!!!

Very poor mngmt

I booked and paid for my room a month in advance and when I checked in I was told my room was not available and was given a room with one bed instead of two leaving my kids on the floor. This hotel is very poorly managed and less than satisfactory cleanliness.
