Kinda OK maybe.

Price was great. Picture on web was maybe the best room in the place. Needs some minor cosmetic fixes.

Run Down Hotel

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: Reasonable rate compared to other hotels, but very pricey for the condition of the place.
Cons: A great deal needs to be improved. See above documentation.
Location: This part was fine - we didn't really care about location of things nearby.
The ceiling had huge stains, the wall hangings were not on the walls but empty brackets were on the walls, the toilet seat had a piece of foam attempting to hold it in place, which by the way, was not effective - I about fell off of the toilet. The bathtub drain was very stained and chipped - looked disgusting. The mattress was caving on one side - I slept in a hole....we are both very sore....for 2 days (so far) from laying on that mattress. I believe our car seats or a rock wall would have been more comfortable than that bed.

Not good

Posted Aug 11, 2014
First arrived, front desk person was nice, went to the room, furniture on top of beds, changed rooms, second room was ok besides.the 1990's tube t.v. and a dirty stained tub,the toilet flapper inside the tank also broke when used, later that night some drunk people kept us up until 4 carrying on outside our room. This is the slums of Johnson county,at 85$ I expected something better, beings other rooms in K.C. go for 135$ a night.

Road construction

Posted Aug 9, 2014
Pros: Room was clean and the whole hotel was non smoking so no worries of smoke smell filtering in from another room.pool was open and looked clean
Cons: By the time we got to breakfast it was pretty well picked over. The thermostat knob on our room unit was broken off
Location: Don't know we were just using it for a travel break on our way home.
Would have been an easy hotel to get to but road construction meant we had to take a detour.

False advertising.

I picked this hotel because it was a good price with a continental breakfast. They had mini packaged muffins (blueberry and banana), orange juice and something similar to a kolache. We were told they are under new management and the website had not been changed yet. The shower had mold in the corner and the sheets had a weird looking stain on them. I reserved the room and checked in with 3 people; they left 2 towels, hand towels and washcloths. The doors at the end of the hallway were left tied open all night. When I asked about this in the morning I was told the maids tie them open because its easier to clean with the carts and other guests sometimes do it. I have been in worse hotels, but I will not be going back.

Negative

Posted Aug 4, 2014
Just needed a place to sleep, but the toilet would not flush, the coffee pot had a molded filter in it and the pillows smelled of mold not to mention there was 3 of us in the room and they provided only 2 bath towels ( trivial I know but).

Do not stay here.

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Room smelled terrible, walls were chipping and so thin you could hear everything going on with other guests. The ac did not keep room cool. Beds were uncomfortable did not get any sleep. Overall a terrible stay, not recommended.

Not recommended for families.

Posted Jul 27, 2014
Pros: The staff was very nice and particularly Rachel was very helpful.
Cons: The whole place needs to be remodeled. The rooms were very old and out of date, and there were drunken people hanging out all over the parking lot.
This place is very run down and disappointing. Do not bring your family here as I felt very uncomfortable and my kids did as well. We checked out after 1 night.
