“The really important things”

We had a 15 hour drive prior to checking in and all we wanted was a clean comfortable place to shower and sleep before beginning another long drive the next morning. This hotel satisfied our needs perfectly, was within sight of the interstate highway, and was quite affordable.

“Cheap, but not a good value”

While I was satisfied with the overall low price of my Expedia package, America's Best Value in Blue Springs was - let us say - not exactly 3 star accommodation. As it turned out, the place was very busy on Saturday night with much opening and closing of doors and lots of tapping of stiletto heels along the cement walkways! Yeah, it's inexpensive, but not a good place for a middle-aged woman to stay for a week while visiting an elderly parent in care.
