Old, Sketchy Hotel

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: The price was fine.
Cons: Everything needs improved.
Location: Location not ideal...kind of a sketchy part of town.
This hotel needs updating very badly. It is out of date with awful decor. It didn't smell very good, as there was evidence of rampant drug use and a mustiness. The walls were covered in graffitti. The remote to the TV didn't work. It took us 2 different key cards to get into the room, and the door was hard to open and shut. It seemed clean enough, and there was no evidence of any bugs. The hotel staff were friendly.

Pros: The entire staff was friendly and helpful
Cons: It could use some updating/facelift per say:)
Location: It was very close to Arrowhead stadium....
At first glance of the hotel, we were skeptical. This is an older hotel, but the rooms were quite nice. The bed was very comfortable, and the staff at the hotel was Aces! This is a small Mom and Pop place... Yes, it could use updating, but overall we were pleased.

An embarrassment to hotels.com!

I refused to stay at this property after arriving on site. It was a total dive, insomuch that I would not even get out of my car to enter the lobby. The parking lot and storefront were too poorly kept up to even want to enter the property.

I was put into a room that did not have hot water. From there I was moved to a room with no water at all. Once I was finally moved into a room with both hot and cold water, I found a pair of dirty underwear beneath my bed. I asked for a refund for such awful conditions and was told that I was lucky I got a room at all and that because they were a mom and pop establishment that they did not do refunds.. Absolutely awful!

Do not ever stay there. It looks like an abandoned building. People actually live there. We checked in and checked right back out...
