Nice

It was pretty good for the price. The hotel was not too far from the center of the city.

Not what I expected. Not at all.

Staff was excellent. Pleasant and very helpful. Room was not clean. Dirty, moldy cups on the window sill. Blankets were not clean.....had to ask for replacements. Carpet was torn in front of the sink. Very disappointed.

Not much attention to detail

Posted Jul 16, 2014
Pros: Comfortable, but unremarkable.
Cons: Cleanliness, and attitude of the front desk staff.
Location: I chose this hotel because it was in walking distance from the Kansas City Power and Light district
When we first checked in, about 15 minutes after settling into the room we heard a baby crying right next door. I went up to the desk and asked to change rooms, and the woman working said it wasnt a problem, and switched us right away. However, she asked if we had sat on the bed, or used any towels, and i told her we did set our bags on the bed so the covers were probably a little mussed. She sighed and said that she would have to go clean it, and she hated doing that, and generally acted like it was an inconvenience for her. When we got to the second room, I noticed quite a bit of urine around the base of the toilet, and a few very long hairs in the bathtub. Just didn't seem like they took very much time cleaning between guests. Other than that, the stay was fairly ordinary.

Hotel was clean and bright. Good breakfast both days. Pleasant foyer to sit in while I waited for my ride. Very quiet. Comfy bed. Brand new TV with excellent reception. I'd stay again!

This hotel as ok

Posted Jun 19, 2014
Pros: I liked the breakfast and location of the hotel.
Cons: They need to finish the construction and update the furniture in the rooms
Location: It was close to the crown center and power and lights. Plenty of things to do with family or just a couples outing.
This hotel as ok. The neighborhood was not bad like some people have said. The swimming pool was very small the picture makes it look much bigger than what it was. The rooms were a nice size for the price of the room. The desk, dresser and end table were not in good working condition but the bathroom was nicely remodeled. The beds were pretty comfortable but a little on the firm side. The breakfast was really good and made it worth staying at this hotel. They had a good variety of foods to choose from.

Ok for an overnight stay

The hotel was ok, kind of old and you can tell people used to smoke in the nonsmoking rooms. On the plus side the staff was amazing!!
