MehPosted Nov 12, 2013
After viewing pictures we thought we'd be staying in a nicer hotel but our room felt more like a hospital room than a nice upscale place. White walls and ugly furniture plus an ugly bathroom in need of upgrading. Clean enough, and a courteous staff but no frills stay. Pool heater was off and 75 degrees and hot tub had so much chlorine it burned our eyes just sitting in it.

Outdated and DisappointingPosted Oct 7, 2013
Pros: Not much
Location: Very convenient to Johnson County (Kansas) activities and events.
Compared to other Marriott Courtyards I have stayed at over the years, this hotel is badly in need of remodeling and updating. The carpet, furniture, amenities, even the lighting in the room were very poor. Since this was just a weekend stay, it was not too bad however, if I were here for a week on business I would be extremely disappointed. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, and the weekend price was very good. This facility just did not measure up to Marriott standards.l

Pros: Nice area of town.
Cons: Said it all in the above comments
Location: Location is fine, nice area of town. Close to restaurants.
The hotel and room were okay but onto my gripes. No refrigerator, microwave or coffee pot in room. Only two glasses. No refill on soap or shampoo. You said vending machine and all there was an ice maker. So you had to buy overpriced sodas from your little "store" off the front desk. Regarding the food...The buffet really had poor & few choices. The rolls/pastries were very stale. The waffle maker did not work very well. Waffles were too light and still a bit doughy and raw. Made two just to give it the benefit of the doubt. Same results. Didn't really have much fruit, whether it was canned or fresh. So as far as charging $11.00 per person, that wasn't worth it. You could go to another less expensive hotel and get a free breakfast (some even hot) and roughy pay the same price. We've stayed in a few Marriotts and were not impressed with them either. Just because you have the name doesn't exactly make you good, just overpriced!

It was very nicePosted Jul 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel staff was extremely friendly and courteous. My room was quiet , clean, and comfortable. Maybe a bit small for a large family . Didnt see many of the other rooms. Very centrally located to attractions . The pool was warm and inviting. The hot tub, great ! Breakfast I'm told was warm and tasty. Didn't get a chance to sample it. Work out room nicely done. Internet available in rooms . Good experience all in all!.
